現代語訳
捕虜となった者たちを悉く琉球へ帰し、薩摩より監国の掟・法制を定め、毎年琉球の貢税六万石を収納するという。

今度、御代替わりにつき、先例の如く松平大隅守が琉球人を同道すべきところ、病気につき去る寅年十月二十一日、願いの通り隠居し、同姓薩摩守宗信に家督相続が仰せ出された。同年十一月十八日、薩摩守は従四位少将に任じられることが仰せ出された。去る卯年四月十六日、老中本多伯耆守正録が上使として下国元への御礼初めが仰せ出され、来る冬に琉球人を同道すべき旨が伝達された。

右の者、琉球人御用掛として奥にて仰せ付けられる。

On this occasion of the change of reign, Matsudaira Ōsumi-no-kami was to accompany the Ryukyuan people as per precedent, but due to illness, on the 21st day of the 10th month of the year of the Tiger, he retired as requested, and succession was granted to Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami Munenobu of the same family. On the 18th day of the 11th month of the same year, it was proclaimed that Satsuma-no-kami would be appointed to the fourth court rank, junior grade, and the position of shōshō (major general). On the 16th day of the 4th month of the previous year of the Rabbit, Rōjū Honda Hōki-no-kami Masatada was appointed as jōshi (imperial envoy) for the initial courtesy visit to the domain, and it was conveyed that Ryukyuan people should be accompanied this coming winter.
