之段も不存候得共風聞多し候事故爰に記す

明十五日琉球人御礼申上候間直垂狩衣大役布衣着用五ッ半時
登 城相済次第 西丸え罷出候様に可被相達候無官之面々不及登

一、四品以上並びに万石以上とも、下乗から内御玄関前冠木御門外までは侍二人、草履取一人、雨天の節は傘持一人を召し連れ、冠木御門から内は刀持一人、雨天の節は手傘を用いること。
一、万石以下は下乗より内は侍一人、草履取一人を召し連れ、御玄関前冠木御門から内は刀持一人、雨天の節は手傘を用いること。
但し部屋有りの面々は挟箱内へ入れること。
一、中之口から登城の面々は草履取を召し連れること。

右はこの度琉球人を召し連れ参府につき、従四位上中将昇進を被仰付旨、老中列座の堀田相模守が申し渡した。
一、薩摩守祖父松平上総入道は両度琉球人を召し連れたけれども、宰相昇進を被仰付されず、正四位上の中将に位階のみ転任にて不興があられ隠居したが、虚実の段も存じないけれども風聞多きことゆえ、ここに記す。
一、同十四日諸向えへ御触書
明十五日琉球人御礼申し上げ候間、直垂狩衣大役布衣着用、五ツ半時登城相済み次第、西丸へ罷出候様に相達すべし。無官の面々は登城に及ばず。
十二月十四日
なお以て御本丸相済み、西丸蓮池御門通り相越すべし。

First, those of Fourth Court Rank and above as well as those with ten thousand koku and above shall, from dismounting to the area outside the lintel gate in front of the main entrance, be accompanied by two samurai, one sandal-bearer, and one umbrella-bearer during rainy weather. From inside the lintel gate, they shall have one sword-bearer and use a hand-held umbrella during rainy weather.
First, those below ten thousand koku shall, from dismounting inward, be accompanied by one samurai and one sandal-bearer, and from the lintel gate in front of the main entrance inward, one sword-bearer, using a hand-held umbrella during rainy weather.
However, those with chambers shall place [their belongings] inside document boxes.
First, those ascending through Nakanokuchi shall be accompanied by sandal-bearers.

Twenty-second cessation arrival
The above concerns this occasion of accompanying Ryukyuan people to the capital, whereupon promotion to Junior Fourth Rank Upper Grade and Middle Captain was granted, as conveyed by Hotta Sagami-no-kami in assembly with the senior councilors.
First, Satsuma-no-kami's grandfather, Matsudaira Kazusa-nyūdō, accompanied Ryukyuan people on two occasions, but was not granted promotion to minister, receiving only positional transfer to Middle Captain of Senior Fourth Rank Upper Grade, whereupon he retired in displeasure. Though I do not know the truth of this matter, there are many rumors, so I record it here.
First, same month, 14th day, official notice to all departments:
Tomorrow, the 15th, the Ryukyuan people will express their gratitude, so wearing hitatare court dress, kariginu hunting robes, or formal cloth garments, ascend to the castle at 5:30, and upon completion, proceed to the West Keep as instructed. Those without court rank need not ascend to the castle.

Furthermore, upon completion at the main keep, proceed to the West Keep through Hasuike Gate.
