申上御次え退座于時右近将監召之具志川
御前え可差出旨被 仰出之於御次御諚之趣薩摩守へ右近
将監達之
但具志川御礼之内薩摩守御襖之外に扣罷在
一中山王より所献上之品々 出御以前より南之板東西より
御目通り順々並置
具志川自分之進物も同事並置
但献上之御馬諏訪部文右衛門支配之御馬乗二人庭 上牽出
文右衛門差添罷出
一献上之御太刀目録御奏者番持出御中段下ゟ二畳目置之中山
王と披露具志川出席御下段下ゟ四畳目奉九拝而退去御太刀
目録御奏番引之
一右近将監 召之具志川儀遠境相越大儀被 思召旨被 仰出
之於御次御諚之趣薩摩守え右近将監伝之則具志川え薩 摩守達之御請申上之其趣右近将監へ薩摩守述之
一具志川重而出席自分之御礼於板縁奉三拝御者番
披露退座大目付二人案内に而殿上之間へ同列下段着座

申し上げて御次へ退座した。その時、右近将監が具志川を召し、御前へ差し出すべき旨を仰せ出された。御次において御諚の趣旨を薩摩守へ右近将監が伝達した。
ただし具志川の御礼の間、薩摩守は御襖の外に控えて罷り在った。
一、中山王より献上された品々 御出御以前より南の板の東西より御目通りに順々に並べ置く
具志川自分の進物も同じく並べ置く
ただし献上の御馬は諏訪部文右衛門支配の御馬乗二人が庭上に牽き出し
文右衛門が差し添えて罷り出る
一、献上の御太刀目録を御奏者番が持ち出し、御中段下より二畳目に置く。中山王として披露し、具志川が出席、御下段下より四畳目で九拝を奉り退去する。御太刀目録を御奏者番が引く
一、右近将監が具志川を召し「遠境より相越し大儀であったと思し召される」旨を仰せ出された。御次において御諚の趣旨を薩摩守へ右近将監が伝え、則ち具志川へ薩摩守が伝達する。御請けを申し上げ、その趣旨を右近将監へ薩摩守が述べた
一、具志川が重ねて出席し、自分の御礼を板縁において三拝を奉る。御奏者番が披露し退座、大目付二人の案内にて殿上之間へ同列下段に着座

After making his report, he withdrew to the waiting room. At that time, Ukon-no-shōgen summoned Gushikawa and announced that he should be brought before His Lordship. In the waiting room, Ukon-no-shōgen conveyed the content of the lord's message to Satsuma-no-kami.
However, during Gushikawa's ceremonial greeting, Satsuma-no-kami remained in attendance outside the sliding screens.

1. The ceremonial sword and inventory list for presentation were brought out by the ceremonial announcer and placed on the second tatami mat down from the middle platform. This was announced as being from the King of Chūzan, Gushikawa attended and performed nine bows from the fourth tatami mat down from the lower platform, then withdrew. The ceremonial announcer took away the sword and inventory list
1. Ukon-no-shōgen summoned Gushikawa and announced "His Lordship is grateful that you have taken such trouble to come from such a distant land." In the waiting room, Ukon-no-shōgen conveyed the content of this message to Satsuma-no-kami, who then immediately conveyed it to Gushikawa. The acknowledgment was reported, and Satsuma-no-kami related the content to Ukon-no-shōgen
1. Gushikawa attended once more and performed his own ceremonial greeting with three bows on the wooden veranda. The ceremonial announcer made the presentation and he withdrew, guided by two ōmetsuke to the jōdan room where he took his seat in the same rank on the lower level
