間南之方敷居際後にして西之方ゟ東之方へ折廻し着座

之間詰縁類詰何も父子共且
御本丸西丸布衣已上之御役人御本丸御礼相済西丸へ相越出仕之

殿上の間へ退去し、大目付二人が案内した。
一、年寄共へ薩摩守が一礼して殿上の間へ退座した。
一、殿上の間において、中山王へ下賜する物の目録並びに年寄共からの返翰を大目付二人が持参して具志川へ相渡した。
一、高家は雁の間詰、同嫡子、御奏者番嫡子は菊の間、縁類詰同嫡子は三の間南の方敷居際の後にして、西の方より東の方へ折り返して着座した。
一、御奏者番旗本番頭は芙蓉の間、御役人布衣以上の御役人は南の御縁西の方より御車寄東の方へ折り返して列座した。
一、薩摩守は帝鑑の間において御菓子・御吸物・御酒を下され、年寄共が出席して挨拶に及んだ。
一、具志川王子へは殿上の間下段において御菓子・御吸物・御酒を下され、年寄共が挨拶に及んだ。
一、従者へは柳の間において御菓子・御吸物・御酒を下された。
一、薩摩守家来にも蘇鉄の間において御菓子・御吸物・御酒を下された。
一、御玄関腰掛並びに下馬腰掛にて下官へ強飯を下された。
一、具志川退出の際、大目付二人が御玄関階の上まで見送った。
ただし年寄共の見送りは無かった。
一、御小姓組・御書院番より出た人五十人が御書院番所で勤仕した。
一、大御番より出た人百人が大広間四の間で勤仕した。

一、琉球人が御礼申し上げることに付き、溜詰御譜代大名、高家雁の間詰、御奏者番菊の間詰、縁類詰、何れも父子共に
御本丸・西丸布衣以上の御役人は御本丸での御礼相済み、西丸へ移って出仕した。

[Gushikawa] withdrew to the jōdan room, guided by two chief inspectors.
1. Satsuma-no-kami made a bow to the senior councilors and withdrew to the jōdan room.
1. In the jōdan room, two chief inspectors brought and handed to Gushikawa the catalog of items to be bestowed upon the King of Chūzan as well as the reply letters from the senior councilors.
1. The high-ranking families (kōke) were stationed in the Gan room, their eldest sons, the eldest sons of the ceremonial announcers in the Kiku room, and the eldest sons of related families sat behind the threshold edge on the south side of the third room, arranged in a curve from west to east.
1. The ceremonial announcers, bannermen, and group leaders were in the Fuyō room, while officials of cloth court dress rank and above were arranged from the west side of the southern veranda to the east side of the carriage entrance.
1. Satsuma-no-kami was served sweets, soup, and sake in the Teikan room, with senior councilors present for greetings.
1. Prince Gushikawa was served sweets, soup, and sake on the lower level of the jōdan room, with senior councilors offering greetings.
1. The retainers were served sweets, soup, and sake in the Yanagi room.
1. Satsuma-no-kami's retainers were also served sweets, soup, and sake in the Sotetsu room.
1. Lower officials at the main entrance bench and dismounting bench were served strengthening rice.
1. When Gushikawa departed, two chief inspectors saw him off to the top of the main entrance steps.
However, there was no seeing-off by the senior councilors.
1. Fifty men from the page guards and library guards served at the library guard station.
1. One hundred men from the great guard served in the fourth room of the great hall.

Procedure for the Ryukyu Chūzan King's envoy Prince Gushikawa's requested audience at the Western Citadel
1. As the Ryukyuans were to offer their respects, the antechamber hereditary daimyo, high-ranking families stationed in the Gan room, ceremonial announcers in the Kiku room, and related families, all fathers and sons together,
Officials of cloth court dress rank and above from both the Main Citadel and Western Citadel completed their audience at the Main Citadel and moved to serve at the Western Citadel.
