詳何許の人其不祧祖也在位五十年長子舜史
順凞嗣在位十一年□活九年長子義本嗣在位十一年
時に民苦疾疫に者の多し依る英祖に英祖は者天孫氏之後也
義本遂に遜ると位焉と云々然る然れは琉球の元祖は鎮西八郎
為朝の子也英祖に至りて天孫氏の後也と云えは為朝
の血脈絶る様に聞ゆれとも其国の人今に至りて為朝の子
孫と言伝へて舜天王と号すしかれは英祖も舜天
の旁支にて王位二代■たりと見へたり為朝は本朝の
皇孫の末裔なるによりて天孫の後と云なるへし清和
天皇の苗の孫なること明けし英祖を別氏と見るは誤な
りと云々
現代語訳
詳細は何処の人か、其の不祧の祖也。在位五十年。長子舜馬順熙嗣ぎ、在位十一年、崩御九年。長子義本嗣ぎ、在位十一年。
時に民疫病に苦しむ者多し。依って英祖に（譲る）。英祖は天孫氏の後也。
義本遂に位を遜ると云々。然れば琉球の元祖は鎮西八郎
為朝の子也。英祖に至りて天孫氏の後也と云えば、為朝
の血脈絶える様に聞こゆれども、其の国の人今に至りて為朝の子
孫と言い伝えて舜天王と号す。しかれば英祖も舜天
の旁系にて王位に就いたりと見えたり。為朝は本朝の
皇孫の末裔なるによりて天孫の後と云うなるべし。清和
天皇の苗裔なること明らかなり。英祖を別氏と見るは誤な
りと云々。
英語訳
The details of what person he was—he is the unworshipped ancestor. He reigned for fifty years. His eldest son Shunba Junnei succeeded him and reigned for eleven years, then died nine years later. His eldest son Gihon succeeded and reigned for eleven years.
At that time many people suffered from epidemics. Therefore (the throne was passed) to Eiso. Eiso was a descendant of the Tenson clan.
Gihon eventually abdicated his position, and so forth. Thus, the founding ancestor of Ryukyu was the child of Chinzei Hachirō
Tametomo. When it comes to Eiso, he is said to be a descendant of the Tenson clan, so it seems as though Tametomo's
bloodline was severed, but the people of that country to this day传say they are descendants of Tametomo
and call him King Shunten. Therefore, Eiso also appears to have been a collateral relative of Shunten
who ascended to the throne. Since Tametomo was a descendant of the imperial grandson of our court,
he would be called a descendant of Tenson. It is clear that he was a descendant of Emperor Seiwa.
To view Eiso as a separate clan is an error,
and so forth.
