卯年三月二十五日、久蔵の方へ金二十両を差し遣わし、この使いに甚右衛門の書状を付けて遣わした。同年四月二十日、金五十五両を元金の内入れとして返済し、本証文に書き載せて照合した。その他に金三両を店借代金として差し遣わし、その受取証を確かに取り置いた。なお去る亥年の四月六日、別口で金五十五両を元利返済した。その節久蔵は留守で、久八並びに内方（妻）へ相渡した。同じ節に別に金三両、これは金三十両の利分として差し遣わした。その受取書を取り置いた。なお辰年は酒の売れ行きが悪いため、勘定割合で金五両を横川村の

所右衛門へ相渡した。昨年の巳年六月、当の久蔵並びに所右衛門が掛け合いのために参ったが、打ち続く不景気で酒造の利益がないため、年延べを無心したところ、承知もなく、当年に至って度々掛け合いがあったが、示談に及ばず。

On the twenty-fifth day of the third month of the year of the Rabbit, I sent twenty ryō in gold to Kyūzō's place, dispatching it with a letter from Jinuemon carried by this messenger. On the twentieth day of the fourth month of the same year, I repaid fifty-five ryō in gold as a partial payment toward the principal, recording it in the main promissory note for verification. Additionally, I sent three ryō in gold as shop rental fees, and securely kept the receipt for this. Furthermore, on the sixth day of the fourth month of the previous year of the Boar, I repaid fifty-five ryō in gold as principal and interest through a separate account. At that time Kyūzō was absent, so I handed it over to Kyūhachi and his wife. At the same time, I separately sent three ryō in gold as interest on thirty ryō. I kept the receipt for this. Moreover, in the year of the Dragon, due to poor sake sales, I paid five ryō in gold to Shōuemon of Yokogawa village according to our accounting arrangement.

Last year in the sixth month of the year of the Snake, Kyūzō and Shōuemon came for negotiations, but due to continuing economic hardship with no profit from sake brewing, they requested an extension of the repayment period. However, there was no agreement, and although there have been repeated negotiations this year, no settlement has been reached.
