戒（いましめ）のことくすへしとて薬（くすり）を服（ふく）しけれは其（その）病（やまひ）愈（いへ）たり
けるに又（また）二人（ふたり）の従弟（いとこ）の常（つね）に同（をなし）く酒（さめ）を飲人（のむひと）の来（きたり）て云（いひ）
けるは天民（てんみん）は酒（さけ）を飲（のま）ず山中（さんちう）の鹿（しか）なり我等（われら）は水中（すいちう）
の魚（いを）なり鹿（しか）は水（みつ）なくとも魚（いを）亦（また）水（みつ）なかるへしやとて
三人（さんにん）遂（つゐ）に痛飲（つういん）沈醉（ちんすい）してやみけるに此人（このひと）明日（めうにち）又（また）病（やまひ）

脹満論
○脹満（ちやうまん）とは腹（はら）の張満（はりみつる）病（やまひ）なり其（その）症（しやう）鼓脹（こちやう）穀脹（こくちやう）単（たん）
腹脹（ふくちやう）蜘蛛病（ちちうひやう）等（とう）の名（な）あり外（ほか）堅（かたく）中（うち）空（むなし）くして鼓（つゝみ）の
ことくなるを鼓脹（こちやう）と云（いひ）手足（てあし）細（ほそ）く痩（やせ）腹（はら）大（おほい）にして蜘蛛（くも）
の状（かたち）のことくなるゆへに此名（このな）あり又（また）五蔵（こさう）六府（ろくふ）の脹病（ちやうひやう）有（あり）
通身（つうしん）面目（めんもく）手足（てあし）皆（みな）浮腫（うきはるゝ）を水腫（すいしゆ）と云（いひ）腹（はら）大（おほい）にして面目（めんもく）

戒めのごとくすべし」と言って薬を服用したところ、その病気は治った。ところが、また二人の従弟で、常に同じく酒を飲む人がやって来て言うには「天民は酒を飲まず山中の鹿のようだ。我等は水中の魚である。鹿は水なくとも生きられるが、魚もまた水なしで生きられるだろうか」と言って、三人でついに痛飲し、深酔いしてしまった。するとこの人は翌日また病気が起こり、前よりもひどくなった。また天民の治療を求めたけれども、今度はどうすることもできないと言ってこれを治療せず、その人はついに死んでしまったということである。今この一事によっても、大量に飲酒すれば必ずこの病気になり、よく保養を慎めば重篤であっても治ることができ、保養を慎まなければ

脹満論
○脹満とは腹の張り満ちる病気である。その症状には鼓脹、穀脹、単腹脹、蜘蛛病等の名がある。外側が堅く中が空虚で鼓のようになるのを鼓脹と言い、手足が細く痩せて腹が大きく、蜘蛛の形のようになるゆえにこの名がある。また五臓六腑の脹病がある。全身、顔面、手足が皆浮腫するのを水腫と言い、腹が大きくて顔面・四肢が腫れないのを脹満と言う。しかしながら脹満も長引いて

Theory of Distension and Fullness
○Distension and fullness is a disease of abdominal swelling and distention. Its symptoms have names such as drum distension, grain distension, simple abdominal distension, spider disease, etc. When the exterior is hard and the interior empty like a drum, it is called drum distension. When the hands and feet are thin and emaciated while the abdomen is large, resembling the shape of a spider, it gets this name. There are also distension diseases of the five organs and six bowels. When the whole body, face, hands and feet all have edema, it is called water swelling. When the abdomen is large but the face and limbs are not swollen, it is called distension and fullness. However, when distension and fullness persists for a long time,
