酒説総論上
○酒（さけ）は上古（しやうこ）の時（とき）に出（いて）て聖経（せいけい）賢伝（けんてん）是を説者（とくもの）多（をほ）し
とかや戦国策（せんこくさく）には昔（むかし）帝（てい）の女（ちよ）儀狄（きてき）に酒（さけ）を作（つくら）しめて
美（うま）し是を禹（う）に進（すゝむ）といへり漢書（かんしよ）に酒（さけ）は天（てん）の
美禄（びろく）帝王（ていわう）の天下（てんか）を頤養（やしなへる）所 享祀（まつり）に福（さいはい）を祈（いのり）衰（をとろへ）を扶（たすけ）
老（をひ）を養（やしなふ）百福（ひやくふく）の会（くはい）酒（さけ）にあらざれは行（をこなはれ）すといへり祭祀（さいし）に
是を用（もちひ）て祖先（そせん）に事（つかふまつ）り燕饗（ゑんきやう）に是を用（もちひ）て賓客（ひんかく）を

酒説総論上
○酒は上古の時代に現れ、聖なる経典や賢人の伝記でこれを説く者が多い
ということである。戦国策には、昔、帝の娘が儀狄に酒を作らせて
美味しく、これを禹に献上したと言われている。漢書には、酒は天の
美禄であり、帝王が天下を養う所以であり、祭祀において福を祈り、衰えを助け、
老人を養う、百福の集まりは酒なくして行われないと言われている。祭祀に
これを用いて祖先に仕え、宴会にこれを用いて賓客を

General Theory of Alcohol Discourse, Part One
○Alcohol appeared in ancient times, and many sacred scriptures and biographies of sages discuss it,
so it is said. The Strategies of the Warring States records that long ago, the emperor's daughter had Yidi create alcohol,
and it was delicious, which was then presented to Yu. The Book of Han states that alcohol is heaven's
beautiful bounty, the means by which emperors nourish all under heaven, used in sacrificial rites to pray for blessings, to support the declining,
and to nourish the elderly; gatherings of a hundred blessings cannot be conducted without alcohol. In sacrificial rites,
it is used to serve ancestors, and in banquets it is used for honored guests
