熱厥（ねつけつ）
○厥（けつ）とは気（き）上逆（しやうぎやく）して手足（てあし）冷（ひゆ）るを寒厥（かんけつ）として手足（あし）
熱（ねつ）するを熱厥（ねつけつ）とす内経（たいきやう）に酒（さけ）胃（ゐ）に入（いれ）は絡脈（らくみやく）満（みち）て経（けい）
脈（みやく）虚（きよ）す陰気（いんき）虚（きよ）すれは陽気（やうき）入（いり）精気（せいき）竭（つく）れは其（その）四肢（しいし）を

是 総（すへ）て他（た）の因（ゐん）なる者（もの）有（あり）といへとも亦（また）酒（さけ）に因（よる）事

熱厥（ねっけつ）
○厥とは気が上逆して手足が冷えるのを寒厥といい、手足が熱するのを熱厥という。『内経』には「酒が胃に入ると絡脈が満ちて経脈が虚する。陰気が虚すると陽気が入り、精気が尽きるとその四肢を栄養することができない。この人は必ず頻繁に酔って房事に入り、腎気が日々衰えて陽気だけが盛んになる。故に手足が熱する」とある。淳于意の言葉に「熱厥は酒を飲んで大いに酔うことによって得られる」とある。張子和は「酔いによってこれを得るものを酒厥とする」と言った。『古今医統』には「酒厥は酒を大量に飲むことを好む飲酒家にある」とある。

歴節風（れきせつふう）
○歴節風とは身体の関節が痛んで屈伸することができない病気である。甚だしい者は白虎歴節風といって、虎が噛むようである。これはすべて他の原因によるものもあるが、また酒によることもある。『病源論』に「これは酒を飲んで腠理が開き、汗が出て風に当たり、水に入ることによって起こるものである」とある。

Heat Reversal (Netsuketsu)
○Reversal refers to qi flowing upward in reverse - when the hands and feet become cold it is called "cold reversal," and when the hands and feet become hot it is called "heat reversal." The Inner Classic states: "When alcohol enters the stomach, the collateral vessels become full while the meridian vessels become empty. When yin qi becomes deficient, yang qi enters, and when essence qi is exhausted, it cannot nourish the four limbs. Such a person inevitably gets drunk frequently and engages in sexual activity, causing kidney qi to weaken daily while only yang qi flourishes. Therefore the hands and feet become hot." Chunyu Yi said: "Heat reversal is obtained by drinking alcohol and becoming greatly intoxicated." Zhang Zihe said: "What is obtained through intoxication is called 'alcohol reversal.'" The Kokon Itō states: "Alcohol reversal occurs in those who enjoy drinking large quantities of alcohol."
