癲（てん）は醉飲（すいいん）飽満（あきみち）て事（こと）を行（をこなひ）心気（しんき）逼迫（せまり）て短気（たんき）脈（みやく）
悸（をとろき）て是を得（う）るといへり朱丹渓（しゆたんけい）の説（せつ）に癲癇（てんかん）の症（しやう）

前陰（せんいん）臊臭（さうしう）

現代語訳

癲癇は酔って飲食し満腹になって事を行い、心気が逼迫して息切れし、脈が
動悸してこれを得るという。朱丹渓の説に癲癇の症状は
酒によって引き起こされることを述べている。またその説に一人の婦人が長く怒り
と酒とを積み重ねて癇を患い、目を上に向け手を上げ足を
投げ打ち、筋が引きつり喉が鳴り、よだれを流し、肺胃の間に長く酒痰があった。
酒の性質は好んで動き、出入りし昇降する。内に入れば痛みとなり、外に
出れば癇となるという。
酒熱

前陰臊臭
○李東垣が一人を治療した。前陰の間に常に臭いにおいがする。
連日酒を飲むことによって腹中が調和しない。酒は気味ともによく
湿熱を生じる。これは風湿熱が下焦に合して邪気となるという。

Wind epilepsy occurs when one drinks to intoxication and overeats, then engages in activities, causing heart qi to become constricted leading to shortness of breath, and the pulse palpitates, thus contracting this condition. Zhu Danxi's theory states that epilepsy symptoms are caused by alcohol. Also in his theory, there was a woman who had long accumulated anger and alcohol, suffered from epilepsy, looked upward with her eyes, raised her hands and threw her feet about, her tendons contracted, her throat made sounds, she drooled, and had alcohol-phlegm in the area between lungs and stomach for a long time. The nature of alcohol is that it likes to move, entering and exiting, ascending and descending. When it enters internally it causes pain, when it exits externally it causes epilepsy.

alcohol symptom pills, which are heating medicines, for this condition. Afterwards, when looking at heaven and earth with the eyes, one could only see red color. It finally became dragon fire and ultimately could not be saved. When illness is caused by alcohol, if the treatment method also does not grasp the proper principle, such terrible things can happen. Zhu Danxi also said that fever in people who drink alcohol is difficult to treat.
Genital Malodor
○Li Dongyuan treated one person. There was constantly a foul smell around the genitals. Due to drinking alcohol for consecutive days, the abdomen was not in harmony. Alcohol in both qi and flavor readily generates damp-heat. This is wind-damp-heat combining in the lower burner to form pathogenic qi.
