○医説（いせつ）に昔（むかし）張彬（ちやうひん）と云（いふ）者（もの）酒（さけ）を嗜（たしみ）毎夜（まいや）必（かならす）数升（すせう）を
床（とこ）の辺（ほとり）に置（をき）けるに一夕（いつせき）是を忘（わすれ）て置（をか）ざりしに大（おほい）に

○朱丹渓の説によると、馬希聖という人物がいた。五十余歳で、性格的に酒を
好み、常に大量に飲んでも酔わなかった。病気になって大便が前の穴（尿道）から出て、
小便が後ろの穴（肛門）から出るようになった。六脈がすべて沈渋であった。四物湯を与えて海金
砂、木香、檳榔子、木通、桃仁を加えた。これを服用して治癒した。この
人は酒を多く飲み、気が勝手気ままになり、酒は上昇して降下せず、陽が極まって陰虚し、
酒湿が積もること久しく、熱を生じて煎り詰まり、血が乾いて陰も
また大いに虚した。陰陽の偏虚であり、皆補接すべきであるという。

alcohol-dampness accumulated for a long time, generating heat that concentrated and dried the blood, causing yin to also
