○耳垢（みゝのあか） 酒（さけ）を嗜（たしむ）を治（ぢ）す
右の方法（はうはふ）金匱要略（きんきようりやく）千金（せんきん）外台（けたい）諸家（しよか）の本草（ほんさう）
其外（そのほか）歴代（れきたい）の名家（めいか）及（をよひ）東医宝鑑（とうゐほうかん）に迄（いたるまて）を撿（かんかえ）
集（あつめ）て是（これ）を載（のす）若（もし）くは論（ろん）若（もし）くは方（はう）謬（あやまり）誤（あやまる）事（こと）
有者（あるもの）は伏（ふし）て諸君子（しよくんし）の是正（せせい）を願（ねかふ）と爾云（しかいふ）

永久に酒を断つ。
○耳垢 酒を好むのを治す。
右の方法は『金匱要略』『千金方』『外台秘要』諸家の本草書、その他歴代の名家および『東医宝鑑』に至るまでを検討し集めてこれを載せた。もし論や処方に誤りがあるものは、伏してお願いするが諸君子の訂正を願う次第である。

酒を崇拝する説はその来歴が久しい。酒が六経に載せられているものは班班として観るべきものがある。あるいは曰く、酒は天の美禄であり、帝王が天下を頤養し、祭祀において福を祈り、衰えを扶け老を養うものである。百福の会は酒でなければ行われない。もしこのようであるならば、天地の間において一日たりとも無くてはならないものである。しかしながら、また功績があっても過ちを覆い隠さないものもあるように、『尚書』の「酒誥」のごとく、また講じないわけにはいかない。ただ今をもって之を観れば

The doctrine of venerating alcohol has a long history. What is recorded about alcohol in the Six Classics appears abundantly and is worthy of observation. Some say that alcohol is heaven's beautiful blessing, used by emperors to nourish the realm, pray for fortune in sacrificial rites, support the declining, and care for the elderly. The gathering of a hundred blessings cannot proceed without alcohol. If this is so, then there should not be a single day between heaven and earth when it can be absent. However, just as there are those whose merits do not cover their faults, like the "Announcement about Drunkenness" in the Book of Documents, this too cannot go without discussion.
