十郎「ここが大磯の新市場というのか」
朝雛「そうさ」
団三「ここの坂戸屋のうちへ京の次郎さんと来たことがございましたが、いい家だねえ」
久「ここの新店もすだてができたばかりで」
朝雛「今にこうしてあるのう」《割書：船中の煙草盆は送りの時茶屋から借りて来たのをすぐに入れてきたりしたなり。火が消えたりしたなり》
久「もし、枕箱の引き出しに火口がございます」
十郎「おっと承知」《割書：と火縄箱の深名引き出しを上げれば、船手形とあらたしい漕ぎ入る二本、四文銭が十五六文。うちに仙台通宝が一文有り。火口を探し出してうつ》「こいつは一向だ」
団三「それ、うって上げましょう」
朝雛《割書：引き出しの中からずり出し上書きを読む》「なんだ、青砥屋にて藤綱様、夢の戸にてしげより。こう、おじい、このお重というなあ、どこから出る」
久「本当に、その文を届けるのだっけ。あにさ、中浦の秩父屋の母へ」《割書：さ大磯なは丁の子どもやある》
《割書：所を中浦という。程なく舟は古市場の前へ来たる》
十郎「大磯の古市場というのはここかえ。だいぶ舟がついてる。にぎやかだそうだ」
朝雛「よくするからにぎやかさ」

Juro: "So this is what they call Oiso's New Market?"
Asahina: "That's right."
