あれアノ下駄（げた）うりの荷（に）のをりてあるうちが
そだ〈十〉富倉（とみくら）とやらはへ〈朝〉とみくらはアノ赤（あか）く
ねつたとうろうの出てゐるうちさ〈団〉モシ爰（こゝ）の
とみくらの出見せが花川にござりやすねへ
きよねん山のかへりによつてしやれやした
モシはやりやすねへ〈朝〉コウおぢいアノ湯川（ゆかは）屋
のわきのちいさな稲荷（いな）りや￣フなんといふ〈久〉
山田いなりといひやす〈朝〉コウ祐成（すけなり）さん此左りの
堀（ほり）が日記（にき）どのぼりといふヨ大いそつうのよく

現代語訳
十郎「大智屋というのはどれだね」
朝雛「大茶屋というなあ、あれ、あの下駄売りの荷を降ろしてある家がそうだ」
十郎「富倉というのは」
朝雛「富倉はあの赤くねじった灯籠の出ている家さ」
団三「もし、ここの富倉の出店が花川にございますねえ。去年山の帰りに寄って洒落ました。もし、流行っていますねえ」
朝雛「こう、おじい、あの湯川屋の脇の小さな稲荷や、何という」
久「山田稲荷と言います」
朝雛「こう、祐成さん、この左の堀が日記殿登りというよ。大磯通のよく知っている所だ」
《割書：というその時、後ろから地蔵町や丁川岸の長期滞在客の送りの帰りを乗せてくる》
《割書：船中には子どもと茶屋の女とが乗っている》
子ども「おくめ、しっかり持ちなよ。日傘を吹き飛ばされるよ」
茶屋女《割書：こちらの舟のおやじを見つけ》「青砥屋のおじさん、どこへ行きなさる。私たちが方へは来ないものだね」
久「送りの帰り」
茶屋女「ああ、いつものことなさいまし」
《割書：というと、向こうから又一艘のお客一人を乗せた帰り船》
英語訳
Juro: "Which one is the Daichiya?"
Asahina: "The big teahouse, you see - that house where the geta seller has unloaded his goods, that's the one."
Juro: "And what about Tomikura?"
Asahina: "Tomikura is that house with the red twisted lanterns hanging out front."
Danzo: "Excuse me, Tomikura has a branch shop in Hanakawa, doesn't it? I stopped by there last year on my way back from the mountains and had a good time. My, it's quite popular, isn't it?"
Asahina: "Hey, old man, that small Inari shrine next to Yukawaya - what's it called?"
Kyu: "It's called Yamada Inari."
Asahina: "Hey, Sukenari-san, this moat on the left is called Nikki-dono Nobori. It's a place well-known to those familiar with Oiso."
