わるくて黒木（くろき）の客もきれたげなのきけばその

《割書：儲けることなり》伝三「それはどうともしよう。」親「それなら、お前、見てから胸倉の五両も貸してくんなせえ。」
《割書：手付け金のことを胸倉という、この道の詞なり》伝三「それはそれとも、よく洗って見てくんねえ。」朝「気を付けなさい。砂洗い方は女郎はしないよ。私だから、踏み玉なんざ使やしませんよ。」《割書：と観六は帰る○踏み玉とは後で厄介なことのある奉公人のことなり○折しも抱えの子供》
お蝶《割書：二階より手拭いを下げる》伝三「お蝶、ちょっと来い。」《割書：と奥の障子を立て切り二人差し向かい》
「他のことでもないが、手前があの曽我の五郎のような客を呼ぶことは、とうに聞いているから、性がよければ五軒の茶屋へことわって合わせぬこともしっているか。外の子供にゃ聞かされないこと、長屋一番商いをよくしてくれた手前だから、今まで大目に見ていたが、この頃は差しを詰めて寝たりすると、茶屋の評判も悪くて、黒木の客も切れたげなのき、聞けばその時宗とやらいう客も内を買っているそうだ。」
