現代語訳

物五つ、国頭へ銀十枚、いずれも同様に贈る。

　　　昨夏、御幕下に拝謁し、
　御誕生の慶びを奉賀申し上げた際、金武・国頭両使者は、旧例により初冬十七・八日頃
　我が琉球国の岸に到着し、すぐに両
　上様からの拝領物を謹んで頂戴いたしました。誠に御三老の御指南により、このような
　御高恩に浴することは必然でありました。殊更に私どもが召され、
　殿中で俯して
　公方様を拝見奉り、その上白銀・夏衣を賜り、またその扈従・僕隷にも若干の白
　銀を賜ったことは、琉球国の美誉少なからざることであります。これにより今度、読谷山王子を使者として
　貴国に渡海させ、松平薩摩守のもとで土産その他について詳しく説明させる
　旨を申し入れさせていただきますので、詳細は省略いたします。恐惶謹言

英語訳

five garments, to Kunigami: 10 pieces of silver, all sent in the same manner.

　　　Last summer, having been granted audience under your honorable curtain government,
　when offering congratulations for the joyous occasion of the birth, the two envoys Kin and Kunigami, according to old custom in early winter on the 17th or 18th day,
　arrived at the shores of our Ryukyu Kingdom, and immediately both
　humbly received the gifts bestowed by the two lords. Truly, through the guidance of the three elders, receiving such
　great benevolence was inevitable. Moreover, we were summoned and
　in the palace hall, bowing low, we
　had the honor of seeing the Shogun, and furthermore received silver and summer garments, and even our attendants and servants received some
　silver - this brings no small honor to the Ryukyu Kingdom. Therefore, this time we are sending Prince Yomitanzan as an envoy
　to cross over to your honorable country, and he will provide detailed explanations about local products and other matters to Matsudaira Satsuma-no-kami,
　so we shall not elaborate on details here. With utmost reverence and respect.
