の至りである。この度恵まれた土宜を数の如く領し、受納して欣々としている。その他のことは
薩摩守が論告するであろう。恐々不宣

謹んで一翰を呈する。そもそも琉球国先王の継目について、寡夫安堵の旨を
薩摩の太守充久より去冬相伝され、
尊命の示された論である。誠に以って幸甚々々。これにより両

上様へ祝詞を奉伸するため、充久の使いに具志州王子を附け、徴
少の品物を備えて拝謝の恵意の忝さを以って、なお
尊前に然るべき様に披露されることを希望候う。誠惶不宣

Reply to the King of Chūzan

I respectfully present this letter. Regarding the succession of the late king of the Ryukyu Kingdom, the matter of my humble reassurance
was conveyed by Satsuma's Governor Mitsuhisa last winter, as
shown in your esteemed command. This is truly most fortunate. Therefore, for both

Their Lordships, to offer congratulations, I have attached Prince Gushiken to Mitsuhisa's mission, providing
modest gifts to express gratitude for your gracious favor, and furthermore hope that
this will be appropriately presented before your honored presence. With sincere awe, inadequately expressed.
