現代語訳

使者が遠路はるばる来訪し、書翰を拝読いたしました。わが貴い大君が前業を承継し、全国を統治されることをお祝い申し上げる懇切なお志、まことに嘉すべきことでございます。使者が土産の品数種を捧げ、城に登って拝謁の礼を終えましたので、暇を賜り帰国いたします。足下よりお与えいただいた品々は、目録の通りお受け取りいたします。

The envoy has come from afar and we have read the letter. The sincere intention to congratulate our noble great lord on inheriting the previous achievements and governing the entire country - this can indeed be praised. The envoy presented several local products, ascended to the castle for an audience, completed the ceremonial rites, and has been granted leave to return to his country. The items bestowed by your excellency shall be received as listed in the catalog.
