現代語訳

そもそも
若君様御誕生、千喜百悦、貴国太平の嘉瑞、何と幸いなことでしょうか。我が小国もこれを聞き、なお安楽であることから、万歳万々歳の祝儀のため、謹んで使者を進上いたします。進献の目録は別紙にございます。詳細は口上にて申し上げますので、しかるべく貴聞に達せられれば多幸です。誠惶謹言。

謹んで一書を呈します。そもそも琉球国の続目（相続）が安堵された旨を、薩州の太守充久より去冬使者を馳せて聞き及び、誠に畏悦の極み、謝恩無限でございます。これにより
公方様へ祝儀を申し上げるため、微少の品物を備えて寸志を表し奉ります。その他のことは使者が演説いたしますので、
高前において御取り成しをお預かりください。不備の段。

Regarding the birth of the young lord, with a thousand joys and a hundred celebrations, what a auspicious sign of peace for your noble country! Our small nation has also heard of this and remains in comfort, therefore we respectfully send an envoy as congratulations for ten thousand years and ten thousand times ten thousand years. The catalog of presentations is on a separate sheet. Details will be conveyed orally, so if this is appropriately communicated to your noble attention, it would be most fortunate. With utmost reverence and humble words.

I respectfully present this letter. Regarding the matter of Ryukyu Kingdom's succession being confirmed in peace, I learned of this last winter through a messenger sent by the great lord Mitsuhisa of Satsuma Province, and I am truly filled with reverent joy beyond measure and limitless gratitude. Therefore,
to express congratulations to His Excellency the Shogun, I have prepared modest items to express my small intentions. Other matters will be explained by the envoy, so
I humbly request your favorable consideration before your noble presence. This is inadequately expressed.
