現代語訳

若君様御誕生の御祝儀のため謹んで使者を馳せ、その寿命を申し上げます。ひとえに貴国太平無事の吉兆であり、誠に幸いなことです。また私の続目（相続）についても高聞に達し、去る壬午の冬に薩州の充久より聞き及び、畏悦と謝恩の気持ちは一口では言い尽くせません。貴公におかれましては憐察をもって両使者を指南し、この趣旨を上達していただければ、ただただ幸いでございます。恐惶謹言。

英語訳

I respectfully send an envoy to celebrate the birth of the young lord and extend wishes for his longevity. This is entirely an auspicious sign of your country's peace and tranquility, which is most fortunate. Furthermore, regarding my succession, it has reached high attention, and I learned of it last winter in the year of Mizunoe-Uma from Mitsuhisa of Satsuma Province. My reverent joy and gratitude cannot be expressed in words. If Your Excellency would compassionately guide both envoys and convey this message upward, it would be nothing but fortunate. With utmost reverence and humble words.
