　お手紙を拝見し、大変喜ばしく思います。琉球国継目安堵の件について、去る
　年、薩摩守より久しく使者を派遣して申し遣わしたところ、使者国頭が
　到着し、謝辞の祝儀として進上した土産を目録の通り、
両上様に披露いたしましたところ、
御前において国頭を召し出されたところ、御機嫌は格別で、御満悦のご様子と拝察
　いたします。詳細は使者の口上にて申し含めます。謹言。

　We have perused your gracious letter with great joy. Regarding the matter of the succession confirmation of the Ryukyu Kingdom, in recent
　years, having dispatched an envoy from Satsuma-no-kami for a long time, the envoy Kunigami
　arrived, and the local products presented as congratulatory gifts of gratitude, as listed in the catalog, were presented to
Both Their Lordships, whereupon
when Kunigami was summoned before Their Presence, their mood was exceptional, and we perceive their great satisfaction.
　The details will be conveyed through the envoy's oral report. Respectfully stated.
