現代語訳

の土産を目録の通り持参して登城し、ひとえに
　上覧に供したところ、両使者を
　御前に召し出され、御機嫌は格別でした。また自分への贈物を
　書面の通り受け取り、厚情に感謝いたします。そこで、こちらからは軽少ではありますが、
　越前綿二百把を贈り、いささか心ばかりの志を表します。謹言。

the local products as listed in the catalog, bringing them to the castle, and exclusively
　presenting them for the lord's inspection, whereupon both envoys were
　summoned before His Presence, and his mood was exceptional. Moreover, having received the gifts for myself
　as written, I am deeply grateful for your generous sentiment. Therefore, though modest from our side,
　we send two hundred bundles of Echizen cotton as a small token of our sincere feelings. Respectfully stated.
