先ほど飛脚で申し入れました三の丸、二の丸は早くも七つ時（午後四時頃）に攻め落とし、焼き払って制圧いたしました。本丸は同じく酉の刻（午後六時頃）に攻め込んで焼き払いました。すべて一度に片付き、めでたく存じます。当然のことながら負傷者が多くおります。諸手（他の部隊）のことは分からないので、手前（自分の部隊）のことだけ申し入れます。恐れながら謹んで申し上げます。

なお、討ち捨てましたが、殺害したキリシタンの数はまだ分かりません。追って上使衆から申し入れがあるでしょう。このように申し上げている間に二の丸まで攻め込みました。内部から大坂・京都の御衆には急書状を送ることができませんので、このようにご承知おきください。江戸にも申し上げるべきでしょう。詳しくは上使衆から申し入れがあるでしょう。以上。

I reported earlier by express messenger that the third and second baileys were captured as early as the seventh hour (around 4 PM), burned and destroyed. The main bailey was also stormed at the hour of the Rooster (around 6 PM) and burned. Everything was completed at once, which I consider most fortunate. As expected, there are many wounded. Since I do not know about the other units, I report only on my own forces. Respectfully and humbly submitted.

Furthermore, although we have killed them all, the number of Christians slain is not yet known. The senior commissioners will report on this later. While making this report, we stormed up to the second bailey. Since we cannot send urgent letters to the lords in Osaka and Kyoto from inside, please be advised accordingly. This should also be reported to Edo. The senior commissioners will provide detailed reports. That is all.
