　を立右落去之注進有て勝鬨を執行未之下
　刻退散す後日伊豆守咄之時節廿七日之夜退
　散し本丸持堪る事を聞而翌日出陣に於而者笑
　布事に而可有其夜を明す事一代之分別仕当
　り堂里と也
治代普顕記曰廿八日惣寄せ之時曙之早天に本
　丸口石垣に乗り塀本に至りて城内之一揆尾花
　之穂を整へ多累如く掃頭花し居たる下へ両
　人飛多登乗懸け而物之具を打払ひなき払
　飛勢時に塀を上り越江手柄を振ひた類武者

　有り壱人者緋威之鎧に浅黄之しなへを差壱
　人者黒糸之鎧に白き羽織を着たる又夘之刻
　之終諸軍兵未壱人茂塀際に不附押寄る折
　節に高石垣に唯弐人一番二番を争ふと見連は
　人に紛連なんやうも無く扨もあ連は誰人之
　中何某に哉有るか無古今に勝し多類振舞
　哉与見る人諸人陣に噂をなせし落城己後に
　先祖を聞は島津中納言ゟ加勢に置連し其
　中に哉与風聞をなす扨又有馬玄蕃頭家
　来に會傳宗右衛門与屋らん玄蕃頭旗頭与

を立て、落城の注進があって勝鬨を執り行い、未の下刻（午後三時頃）に退散した。後日、伊豆守が話した時節によると、「二十七日の夜に退散し、本丸が持ちこたえることを聞いて、翌日の出陣においては笑い話になることであろう。その夜を明かすことは一生の分別の仕りどころ、まさにその通りである」とのことであった。

『治代普顕記』によると、二十八日の総攻撃の時、暁の早朝に本丸口の石垣に乗り、塀本に至って城内の一揆勢が尾花の穂を整え、多数の者が髪を剃って座っている下へ、二人が飛び込むように乗りかかって、武具を打ち払い薙ぎ払い、素早く塀を乗り越えて手柄を振るった武者がいた。

一人は緋威の鎧に浅黄の陣羽織を着し、一人は黒糸の鎧に白い羽織を着ていた。また卯の刻の終わり（午前七時頃）、諸軍兵がまだ一人も塀際に近づかずに押し寄せている折に、高い石垣にただ二人だけで一番乗り二番乗りを争うと見れば、人に紛れることもできず、さてもあれは誰の中の何某であろうか。古今に優れた振舞いであるなあと見る人皆が陣中で噂をなした。落城の後に出自を聞けば、島津中納言から加勢に出された者の中にいたという風聞がある。さてまた有馬玄蕃頭の家来に會傳宗右衛門という者がいて、玄蕃頭の旗頭として
