　数百騎を引卒し多連は伊豆守左門両将
　に理り而御陣取一場承而一働せんと申希れ　
　共両将其義者免し給は春諸国之使者陣
　中に而一新一場を渡し給ひ伊豆守別而懸意
　に而軍法に馴多る但馬成者軍之万談合成之
　給ひ陣中之往来も老躰迚乗輿を免し給
　ひ座上之平座をなさせ給う但馬面目之
　手柄也扨落城之折節其身者軍法之法度　
　を正し廿七日城乗之時伊豆守本陣者城
　之出口を背後尓海を当長池を備へむへは

　但馬自分に而鴈行之陣を構江本陣之脇に堅免
　た連は長池鴈行之糀ひ流石物馴て楚見へ尓け
　る扨廿八日之総乗には但馬ぐ軍法を破る事有ま
　しと子共良等共にも堅く禁免を云多れ共壮
　年血気子共成盤嫡子左近次男勘兵衛三男八
　左衛門幷養林加連等は親に忍ひて早天ゟも城江
　乗入り同使者に毛利久八彼是働人とすれ共乗場
　之悪敷処にして数万騎之軍兵入重り手足之
　働も叶已須唯人に押殺されす踏殺され怒か仕
　合也其中に三男八左衛門少人違成方江貫而一揆

さて落城の折節、その身は軍法の法度を正し、二十七日の城攻めの時、伊豆守の本陣は城の出口を背後にし、海を当て、長池を備えるべきであった。

但馬は自分で雁行の陣を構え、本陣の脇に堅固に配した。これは長池での雁行の構えで、流石に物慣れて見事に見えた。さて二十八日の総攻めには、但馬が軍法を破ることがあってはならないと、子供たちにも堅く禁令を言い渡したけれども、壮年の血気盛んな子供たちは、嫡子左近、次男勘兵衛、三男八左衛門並びに養子らは、親に隠れて早朝から城へ攻め入った。同じく使者の毛利久八もあれこれと働こうとしたが、攻め場の悪しき処で数万騎の軍兵が重なり合い、手足の働きも叶わず、ただ人に押し殺され踏み殺される怒りの仕合であった。その中で三男八左衛門は少し人と違う方へ抜けて一揆と
