現代語訳

彭湖島は国の西にあり、水行五日という。按ずるに、彭湖は台湾・泉州と相近く、琉球の属島ではない。崑山の鄭子若曾が著した琉球図は、その誤りをそのまま踏襲している。さらに針路で取る彭家山・釣魚嶼・花瓶嶼・鶏籠・小琉球等の山で、琉球から二、三千里も離れているものを、すべて姑米山・那覇港の左近に位置させている。間違いが最も甚だしい。太平山は国の南二千里の遠方にあるのに、鄭図では中山の頂上、歓会門の前に移して一つの小山として描いている。これも最も正しくない。

英語訳

It states that Penghu Island is west of the country, five days by water travel. Upon examination, Penghu is close to Taiwan and Quanzhou, and is not an island belonging to Ryukyu. The Ryukyu map authored by Zheng Ziruo-zeng of Kunshan perpetuates this error. Moreover, it positions mountains such as Pengjia Mountain, Diaoyu Islet, Flower Vase Islet, Jilong, and Little Ryukyu—which are used as navigation markers and are actually 2,000-3,000 li distant from Ryukyu—all in the vicinity of Kome Mountain and Naha Port. The errors are most egregious. Taiping Mountain is located far to the south of the country, 2,000 li away, yet Zheng's map relocates it to the summit of Chuzan, in front of Kankai Gate, depicting it as a small mountain. This is also most incorrect.
