召し出され、高十六俵二人扶持を下された。
一 同十一年巳年四月五日、今般若殿様が御入国されるが当地は御人数が少ないため、来る未年まで在番詰越を仰せ付けられ、江戸在番が先となった。
一 同年十一月十一日、御朱印道中で昼夜出精したため、御吸物・御酒を下された。《高遠にて》
一 明和二年乙酉年十月二十一日、元締方書役を仰せ付けられた。
一 同七年寅年十一月二十日、縁組の願いが済んだ。
一 安永三年甲午年四月十二日、格式御供番となり二俵御加増された。
一 同三年十月五日、箕輪領長岡村の百姓源右衛門の妹を後妻にしたいとの願いが済んだ。《同四年乙未年十二月十二日、御代官を仰せ付けられ、四俵一人扶持の御加増、外に御役料二人扶持を下された》

一 天明三年癸卯年十一月朔日、父藤八の願いの通り隠居し家督を継ぎ、高二十四俵三人扶持を下された。
一 同五日、支配所替えを仰せ付けられ、川下郷・洗馬郷を支配することになった。
一 同年十二月二十八日、当秋中の田方不熟につき見分を仰せ付けられたところ、数日骨折って相勤め、引き続き御勘定等も相済ませたため、金三百疋を下された。
一 同四年辰年閏正月三日、願いにより本苗を小嶋と改めた。
一 同五年乙巳年十一月十日、格式御中小性に成り下され、二俵御加増を下された。
一 同七年丁未年九月二十一日、御蔵方を仰せ付けられ、御用人支配となった。
頼以君御代
一 寛政四年壬子年十二月三日、御役を御免になり、御次番を仰せ付けられた。
一 同五年癸丑年十二月二十八日、兵藤代右衛門の義につき、妻子共に軽追放を仰せ付けられた。《代右衛門の兄である》江戸十里四方その外、京・大坂・甲府・東海道・信濃御構えとなった。
一 文化十一年甲戌年六月八日、八郎左衛門の先年の弟代右衛門が重罪の義につき追放を仰せ付けられたところ、この度竹千代様御誕生の御祝儀につき、公儀から赦免が仰せ出されたこともあり、右の思し召しで帰参を仰せ付けられるところ、八郎左衛門の義で息子共が相果てたと相聞こえたため、御沙汰に及び難い。しかし妻の義は当時一人で極めて難渋し、朝暮悲嘆していることを親類共が願い出たため、格別の思し召しで

Reign of Lord Honryūin
- On the 1st day of the 11th month of Tenmei 3 (1783), Year of the Rabbit, following his father Tōhachi's petition for retirement, he inherited the family headship and was granted a stipend of 24 hyō with provisions for three people.
- On the 5th day of the same month, he was assigned a change of administrative territory to supervise Kawashimo and Seba villages.
- On the 28th day of the 12th month of the same year, he was ordered to inspect due to poor rice harvests that autumn. Having worked diligently for several days and subsequently completing the accounting, he was granted 300 mon in gold.
- On the 3rd day of the intercalary 1st month of Tenmei 4 (1784), Year of the Dragon, by petition he changed his original surname to Kojima.

Reign of Lord Yorimoto
- On the 3rd day of the 12th month of Kansei 4 (1792), Year of the Rat, he was relieved of his official duties and appointed to guard rotation.
- On the 28th day of the 12th month of Kansei 5 (1793), Year of the Ox, regarding the matter of Hyōdō Daemon, his wife and children were sentenced to light banishment. 《He was Daemon's older brother》 They were banned from within 10 ri of Edo, as well as from Kyoto, Osaka, Kōfu, the Tōkaidō route, and Shinano province.
- On the 8th day of the 6th month of Bunka 11 (1814), Year of the Dog, regarding Hachirozaemon's younger brother Daemon who had been sentenced to banishment years earlier for serious crimes, on this occasion of the birth celebration of Lord Takechiyō, amnesty was proclaimed by the shogunate, and by this gracious consideration he was to be permitted to return to service. However, as it was heard that Hachirozaemon's sons had all died, it was difficult to issue the order.
