一石切旅稼之者壱人も無御座候
右者入念村中一々取調仕申所少も
相違無御座候若此上ニも不吟味成儀
有之而後日御聞をよひ被成候ハヽ其元ゟ
早速御注進可被成候其段御調之上如何
様之御咎筋被 仰付候共少も御恨
無御座候為後日連印証文仍而如件

差し上げ申し上げる一札の事
一、石切りの出稼ぎをする者は一人もおりません。
右の件につきましては、念入りに村中を一軒一軒調査いたしましたところ、少しも相違ございません。もしこの上にも調査が不十分な事柄があって、後日お聞き及びになられましたら、その元（村役人）から早速ご注進くださいませ。その段をお調べの上、どのようなお咎めを仰せつけられましても、少しもお恨みいたしません。後日の証拠のため連印証文を差し上げます。よって書面の通りです。

Regarding the above matter, we have carefully investigated every household in the village one by one, and there are no discrepancies whatsoever. If there should be any inadequately investigated matters that come to your attention later, the village officials shall immediately report them to you. After your investigation of such matters, no matter what punishment may be imposed upon us, we harbor no resentment. We submit this jointly signed certificate as evidence for the future. Therefore, as stated in this document.
