現代語訳

一　大正二年（1913年）十二月十五日、御当家家扶に任命された。それ以来永年御厚恩を受けていたが、今回御家職規定に基づき満期となり、その上老年に及んだため、家扶を辞めたい旨の願書を家扶松嶋雅人氏宛に提出し、同家扶より御上申していただいたところ、願いの通り家扶免職の指示を拝受した。

一　家扶免職となった際、改めて当分の間、家職主席の心得をもって事務取扱を任命された。

一　同年十二月二十日、左の通り終身年金御賞与の御沙汰書を拝受した。

　　家政改革に当たり尽力少なからず、再来二十余年間精勤につき、終身年金百八十円を賞与する。

一　同年同月同日、永年勤続精勤したところ、今回退隠につき記念として御紋付宝石置時計一個を下された。
　　右時計側面硝子に左の通り謝辞が刻まれている。
　　「三好泰喬君、家職に在りて忠直精励すること二十余年、一日の如し。今ここに告老して体を養い故山に帰るに当たり、之を贈り聊か謝意を表す」

1. Taishō 2nd year (1913), 12th month, 15th day: He was appointed as house steward (kahu) of the honorable house. Having received great benevolence for many years since then, based on the household position regulations, his term was completed and he had reached old age, so he submitted a petition to resign from the house steward position addressed to House Steward Matsushima Masato, who submitted it to the higher authorities. His petition was granted and he received instructions for dismissal from the house steward position.

1. When he was dismissed from house steward, he was newly appointed to handle affairs with the understanding of acting as chief of household positions for the time being.

1. Same year, 12th month, 20th day: He received the following official notification of a lifetime pension award:

　　For considerable efforts in household administrative reform and diligent service for over twenty years since then, a lifetime pension of 180 yen is awarded.

1. Same year, same month, same day: Having served diligently for many years, upon his retirement this time, he was granted one jeweled desk clock with family crests as a memento.
　　The following words of gratitude are engraved on the glass of the clock's side:
　　"Mr. Miyoshi Yasutaka served faithfully and diligently in household positions for over twenty years as if it were one day. Now as he retires to care for his health and return to his homeland, this is presented to express our sincere gratitude."
