　を仕柵を振り候得と被仰付候間其通に仕候
　然者諸家之家老伊豆殿左門殿へ被召寄
　当分仕寄仕候儀無用之築山せ以路うを仕
　候へと被仰付我等有馬玄蕃両手にて築山

現代語訳

みっともなく申し付けるべきである。もしそのような者がいるならば、その吟味を申し付けるべきである。

一、持ち場を決めて小屋を替え、何でも一手で切り抜ける心構えでいれば、決着をつけることができる。

一、鉄砲を撃つ者は誰の方かと申し上げるべきである。昼夜ともに見張りに遣わすので、その時にその名前を尋ねさせるべきである。

一、面々の持ち場の柵を急いで振り上げるべき事。

一、合言葉の事。この間決まったので、もはや城中でも承知しているはずである。今日から「山か」と尋ねられたら「川」と答えるべき事。

According to the memorandum of Tachibana Sakon-shōgen Tadashige: From the fifth day of the first month, we were ordered to conduct siege works and raise stockades, so we carried this out accordingly.
