　光与号す
尼草有馬原覚書曰正月元日惣攻之刻二之丸
　之外出丸江牧野伝蔵殿林丹波殿松平甚三
　郎殿此三頭之衆御掛り被成候城中ゟ鉄炮烈
　敷打申候に付手負死人多く御座候松平甚
　三郎殿は其侭御手負被成御引取被成候其跡
　に牧野伝蔵殿林丹波殿御残鉄炮之せり阿
　ひ之内三時程せりあい御座候内に丹波殿被仰付
　候は次太夫庄兵衛喜之助三人に足軽持たる

　鉄炮を取竹束さまを射閉させ可申様に打立
　支配申付候由被申付候に付其ゟ手負死人少く
　此段丹波殿伝蔵殿殊外成御褒美に而御坐
　候朔日に茂城中強乗得ふ申候惣陣壱人も不
　残午之上刻に御引取被成候丹波殿伝蔵殿
　御引被成候跡に矢来庄兵衛伴野太左衛門瀬
　川次太夫安井喜兵衛四人鉄炮せり阿ひ志つ者
　らひ仕候内に一揆之者共城中ゟ塀之上江不残
　登り鑓長刀抜以て比奥もの返せ〳〵と呼は里
　候得にも外に壱人茂出申者無御座候未之上

軍の将として肥前国有馬の陣において戦死した。釼峯原源光と号する。

『尼草有馬原覚書』に曰く、正月元日の総攻撃の時刻、二の丸の外の出丸へ牧野伝蔵殿、林丹波殿、松平甚三郎殿、この三頭の衆がお掛かりになった。城中から鉄砲を激しく撃ってくるので、手負いや死人が多く出た。松平甚三郎殿はそのまま負傷されてお引き取りになった。その後に牧野伝蔵殿、林丹波殿がお残りになり、鉄砲の撃ち合いの中、三時間ほど撃ち合いがあった内に、丹波殿が命じられたのは、次太夫、庄兵衛、喜之助の三人に足軽の持っている鉄砲を取らせ、竹束のようなものを射て塞がせるように撃ち立てて指揮するよう申し付けられたということである。それによって手負いや死人が少なくなった。この件で丹波殿、伝蔵殿は格別なお褒美があった。元日にも城中は強く持ちこたえ申した。総陣、一人も残らず午の上刻（正午過ぎ）にお引き取りになった。丹波殿、伝蔵殿がお引きになった後に、矢来庄兵衛、伴野太左衛門、瀬川次太夫、安井喜兵衛の四人が鉄砲の撃ち合いを静かに行っていた内に、一揆の者どもが城中から塀の上へ残らず登り、槍や長刀を抜いて「この奥のものよ、帰れ帰れ」と呼んだけれども、外に一人も出て行く者はいなかった。未の上刻

The *Amakusa Arimahara Oboegaki* (Memorandum of Amakusa Arimahara) states: At the time of the general assault on New Year's Day, Lord Makino Denzō, Lord Hayashi Tanba, and Lord Matsudaira Jinzaburō—these three commanders—launched an attack on the outer bailey beyond the second bailey. As intense musket fire came from within the castle, there were many wounded and dead. Lord Matsudaira Jinzaburō was wounded and immediately withdrew. After that, Lords Makino Denzō and Hayashi Tanba remained, and during the musket exchange, there was fighting for about three hours. During this time, Lord Tanba ordered Jidayū, Shōbei, and Kinosuke to take the muskets carried by the foot soldiers and fire at bamboo bundles and such to block them, commanding them to set up and direct this strategy.
