　に人数を立て扣へたる所に親死骸を取て今
　陣所へ引堂里ける上使之内に而内膳正は討死
　なり十蔵甚三郎は手負也其外之上使衆
　は替事なか里希り
又曰弐番に松倉長門守人数も三之曲輪際迄
　掛つ多里是茂一たま里も堂満ら須後之谷田畑
　迄逃込多り牢人共之中に而者能付たる者も有
　長門守親は勝多る大別之者に而大坂陣之時者
　松倉人数何茂能働に付て手柄故加増沢山に
　取也其時之人数茂有け連共原之城に而はおく

　連を取候兎角能も悪敷も大将に寄る上と古
　ゟ茂沙汰有しか誠に左有者かと覚た類
又曰鍋島人数茂一掛り懸つて城へ乗込事なら
　須して後之婦希田之中江逃込皆泥くるみ尓て
　成り多り希里正月朔日之有様を九州之歩
　人足たら是を見て歴々御知行取之侍達
　之有様百姓ゟは浅間敷躰哉と手をた多き
　大声を上て笑ひたり希る諸手之竹た者も
　武道具とも又塀近き所は死骸茂取事な
　已須して武道具竹束なと城中ゟ出て替

現代語訳

に人数を立て控えていたところで、父親の死骸を取って今陣所へ引き返した。上使の内で内膳正は討死となり、十蔵と甚三郎は手負いである。その他の上使衆には変わった事はなかった。

また別の記録によると、二番に松倉長門守の人数も三の曲輪際まで攻めかかったが、これも一時も持たずに後ろの谷田畑まで逃げ込んだ。牢人共の中には優秀な者もいたが、長門守自身は勝れた大身の者で、大坂の陣の時は松倉の人数がみな良く働いて手柄を立てたので、加増をたくさん取った。その時の人数もいたけれども、原城においては臆病になった。とかく良くも悪くも大将次第であると古来から言われているが、まことにその通りだと思われた。

また別の記録によると、鍋島の人数も一かかり攻めかかったが城へ乗り込むことができずに、後ろの深い田の中へ逃げ込み、皆泥まみれになってしまった。正月朔日の有様を九州の歩兵や人足たちがこれを見て、「身分の高い知行取りの侍達の有様が、百姓よりも情けない体だな」と手を叩いて大声を上げて笑った。諸手の武具類や竹束なども、また塀近くの所は死骸も取ることができずに、武具や竹束などを城中から出てきて取り替え
