現代語訳

切支丹蜂起覚書に載す

一筆啓上致します。織部正が島原に配置している者からの書状並びに内膳殿・十蔵殿の軍法の書き出しを写し置きましたので、江戸へ言上するために御年寄衆へ書状箱を進上致します間、派遣していただけますでしょうか。右の二通の写しをそちらへと進上致します。周防殿・信濃殿・遠江殿へもお伝えいただけますでしょうか。恐縮謹言。

As recorded in the Chronicle of the Christian Uprising:

I respectfully write to you. We have copied the letters from the person that Oribe-sho has stationed in Shimabara, as well as the military strategy documents written by Naizen-dono and Jūzō-dono. As we are submitting a letter box to the council of elders (otoshiyori) to report this to Edo, could you please dispatch it? We are sending copies of these two documents to you. Please also convey this to Suō-dono, Shinano-dono, and Tōtōmi-dono. Respectfully and humbly.
