　場受取申せい路うも二け所あ希申候仕寄も切に付
　出申候
島原記載
　　江戸へ御注進申上候間一筆申上候爰元様子
　　昨日申上候通相替儀無御座候
　一爰元之寄手衆又取加希可申躰に而無御座候
　　間仕寄を急を入仕候様に申付候
　一内膳殿死骸取置候事は島原へ夜前遣
　　し申候間彼地に而灰に仕候事
　一昨日内膳殿拙者手前之様子は御機遣被

　　成間敷候天下之寄合に而御座候得共惣
　　手之人数に目さ満させ申候無是非仕合に
　　而御座候
　一内膳殿も拙者も鎗を切をら連石付之方
　　斗そと懸り申候事
　一主水殿手前残所も無之候内膳殿拙
　　者参候所とは違申候故内膳殿仕合夢にも
　　主水不被存候委申度候得共父殺に而迷惑
　　申候而早々申上候恐惶謹言

場を受け取り申した。攻撃路も二ヶ所ありがたく申し候。仕寄せも急に取り付け申し候。

島原記に載せる

江戸へ御注進申し上げ候間、一筆申し上げ候。こちらの様子は昨日申し上げ候通り、変わったことは御座候わず。

一、こちらの寄手衆、また取り加わり申すべき体にては御座候わず間、仕寄せを急ぎ入れ仕候様に申し付け候。

一、内膳殿の死骸を取り置き候事は、島原へ夜前遣わし申し候間、かの地にて灰に仕り候事。

一、昨日内膳殿、拙者手前の様子は御気遣いなされ間敷候。天下の寄合にて御座候えども、総手の人数に目も当てられず申し候。是非なき仕合いにて御座候。

一、内膳殿も拙者も槍を切り折られ、石突きの方ばかりそっと掛かり申し候事。

一、主水殿手前、残り所も無く候。内膳殿、拙者参り候所とは違い申し候故、内膳殿の仕合い、夢にも主水存ぜられず候。委しく申したく候えども、父殺しにて迷惑申し候にて、早々申し上げ候。恐惶謹言

The position was received. There are fortunately two attack routes. The siege works are also being urgently constructed.

Since I am sending a report to Edo, I write this brief note. The situation here remains unchanged from what I reported yesterday.

1. The besieging forces here are not in a condition to receive additional reinforcements, so I have ordered that siege works be constructed with utmost urgency.

1. Regarding the preservation of Lord Naizen's corpse, it was sent to Shimabara last night, where it will be cremated.

1. Yesterday's situation with Lord Naizen and myself should not cause you concern. Although this is a national campaign, the total number of troops is insufficient, which is an unavoidable predicament.

1. Both Lord Naizen and I had our spears broken, and could only fight with the butt ends.

1. There is nothing left of Lord Mondo's position. Since the place where Lord Naizen and I went differs from his, Lord Mondo never dreamed of Lord Naizen's fate. I would like to provide more details, but I am distressed by my father's death, so I report hastily. With fear and reverence.
