一 その後、非番の老中たちへ回勤し、口上書を持参した。内容は以下の通り。
「私は日光御名代を滞りなく勤め、ただ今帰府いたしました。つきましては、ご挨拶に伺います。
十月十一日」
一 若年寄の方々へは直接伺わず、使者を差し出した。
一 交代で隠岐から付きの使者が来て面会し、返答を申し送った。
十月二十日
一 今日、日光から帰参の御目見を仰せ付けられたので、五時半に登城するよう、昨夕老中連名の奉書が助御用番伊勢守殿より到来した。内容は以下の通り。
「明日、日光帰参の御目見を仰せ付けられるので、五時半に登城すべし。以上。
十月十九日 久世大和守
松平伊賀守」

After that, I made rounds to the off-duty senior councilors, bringing a written statement of my report. The content was as follows:
"I have completed my duties as deputy representative to Nikko without incident and have now returned to Edo. I hereby request an audience to report."
October 11th
For the junior councilors (wakadoshiyori), I did not visit directly but sent a messenger instead.
A messenger from Oki arrived for the relief rotation, and I met with him and sent back a response.
October 20th
Today I was commanded to have an audience regarding my return from Nikko, and was instructed to proceed to the castle at half past five. Yesterday evening, an official letter jointly signed by the senior councilors arrived from Assistant Duty Officer Lord Ise-no-kami. The content was as follows:
"Tomorrow you are commanded to have an audience regarding your return from Nikko. You shall proceed to the castle at half past five. That is all.

Matsudaira Iga-no-kami"
