仰せ出され候間、五半時に登城これあり候様、老中連名の奉書到来の由、案内表手紙来たり承知の返事遣わす。
同十日
一、内藤能登守殿より使者を以て、今日日光への御暇が仰せ出され、上意を蒙り拝領品を致され難有き旨、知らせのため申し来たり、相応に答え悦び申し遣わす。ただし十五日に奉書が相渡され、十六日発足致すべき段が仰せ出され候や、と申し来たり、何れも承知の答えを申し遣わす。こちらより悦びの使者を遣わす。
同十四日
一、内藤能登守殿、明後日発足につき暇乞いのため使者を遣わす。
同十五日
一、内藤能登守殿より、今日登城これあり、日光奉行への奉書が相渡され請け取り申され候、明朝出立の段、知らせのため使者を以て申し来たる。
一、控えの者は月次につき構いなく登城、退出後より清め申し候。
一、退出後諸向清め、衆中の者は今朝より清め申し付ける。
一、今日清めより明朝解き候まで、公用私用ともに

[The order] was issued, so [I should] go to the castle at 5:30 AM. A formal letter from the senior councilors arrived, and I sent a reply acknowledging receipt of the notification.
Same day, the 10th
One item: Naitō Noto-no-kami sent a messenger today to inform that permission to depart for Nikkō had been granted, that he had received the lord's gracious instructions and gifts, for which he was grateful. I sent an appropriate reply expressing congratulations. However, he inquired whether the formal letter would be delivered on the 15th and departure should be made on the 16th. I sent replies acknowledging all matters. I sent a messenger from here to express congratulations.
Same day, the 14th
One item: I sent a messenger to Naitō Noto-no-kami to bid farewell as he departs the day after tomorrow.
Same day, the 15th
One item: Naitō Noto-no-kami sent word via messenger that he went to the castle today, received the formal letter for the Nikkō magistrate, and would depart tomorrow morning.
One item: The attendants, as it is the monthly period, may go to the castle without concern. After withdrawal, purification begins.
One item: After withdrawal, purification for all quarters. The retainers begin purification from this morning.
One item: From today's purification until it is lifted tomorrow morning, both official and private [matters are restricted].
