使者をもって知らせるために申してきた。
一、控えの者は月次のため程なく登城し、退出後より清めを申した。
一、退出後諸向きを清め、家中の者は今朝から清めを申し付けた。
一、今日の清めから明朝解くまで、公用私用ともに承らない。
同十六日
一、今朝は特に清めを行った。
一、内藤能登守殿へ見送りのため白井勇右衛門を使者として遣わしたところ、今朝七時に出立され、相応の直答を申し聞かされたとのことで帰って申し聞かせた。
一、五時半過ぎに千住駅まで遣わした徒士の使いが帰り、六時過ぎに千住へ到着し半時頃に発足され、相応の答えがあった旨を帰って申し聞かせた。
一、内藤能登守殿から表手紙をもって千住駅出立の案内が申してきたが、留守のため返事は遣わさなかった。
一、諸向きの清めが相済んだ旨を申し渡し、五時半から清めを解いた。
一、内藤能登守殿から出立の案内の使者が来た。こちらからも祝いの使者を遣わした。

1. This morning I performed purification with special care.
1. I sent Shirai Yuemon as a messenger to see off Lord Naito Noto-no-kami, and he returned saying that the lord departed at seven o'clock this morning and gave an appropriate direct response.
1. The foot soldier messenger I sent to Senju Station after 5:30 returned and reported that he arrived at Senju after six o'clock, that the lord departed around half past the hour, and that there was an appropriate response.
1. Lord Naito Noto-no-kami sent a formal letter informing me of his departure from Senju Station, but since I was away, I did not send a reply.
1. I announced that the purification of all quarters had been completed, and lifted the purification from 5:30.
1. A messenger came from Lord Naito Noto-no-kami to inform of his departure. I also sent a congratulatory messenger from my side.
