一、御礼のため西の丸へ登城し、御奏者番朽木土佐守に謁見した。
一、服喪中の者たちは老若を問わず交代で勤務し、日光への御暇と拝領物への御礼を玄関で申し述べた。
一、今日は出立の清めのため、途中で出会った人々へ駕籠脇から使者を遣わし、時宜に及ばない旨を伝えた。もちろん下座も受けなかった。
一、今日登城したところ、御座の間において日光への御暇を上意により承り、拝領物をいただいた旨を言いふらし、また詰日の手伝いの者も除いて良い旨を申し合わせ、すぐに回状をもって当番勤務の同席中へ申し送った。
一、この度御誕生があった段について先日御書付が仰せ出されたので、御用番伊豆守殿へ左の伺い書を差し出したところ、翌日御付札をもって御指図が済んだ。
私は今日八日に日光への御暇をいただいたので、来る十六日に出立いたします。旅中に御誕生がおありになる段を承知いたしましたが、二十日の御名代を相勤めて差し支えないでしょうか。

その節に相達すれば良いでしょう。
一、出立以前に御誕生がおありになれば、御触れの通り御祝儀を使者をもって申し上げるべきでしょうか。もちろん帰府後の御目見を申し上げる以前も同様に使者をもって申し上げるべきでしょうか。また旅中に承知した場合は飛札をもって御祝儀を申し上げるべきでしょうか。

一、御宮・御霊屋への自分の拝礼についても、どのように心得申すべきでしょうか。
