有之候間付入自分之吹聴且安否も申述退座

一青山下野守殿江可罷越処此節表門修復ニ付対客登
城前段故不罷越吹聴等以使者申遣

一、服紗袷半袴を着用し、七時半過ぎ一寸に出宅、御用番阿部備中守殿へ罷り越した。
一、用人が呼び出し、日光廿日御名代仰せ付けられ候につき御礼のため罷り出た旨を申し述べた。程なく備中殿が対客之間へ出座し、用人が杉戸を明け、自分が罷り出て対客之敷居際にて姓名を申し述べて罷り出た。今度日光廿日御名代仰せ付けられ有難い旨を申し上げた。右につき伺書を差し出した上、包み取り二通を一所に差し出した。備中殿が披見され、ちょっと会釈があって直ちに退座した。それから勝手へ罷り通ると備中守殿が出座され、時候の挨拶があった。他にも相客があったので、付き入って自分の吹聴をし、また安否も申し述べて退座した。
一、土井大炊頭殿、水野出羽守殿、大久保加賀守殿へも罷り越し、勝手へ罷り通って自分の吹聴をし、安否も申し述べて五時半過ぎに帰宅した。
一、青山下野守殿へ罷り越すべきところ、この節表門修復につき対客登城前段の故、罷り越さず、吹聴等を使者を以って申し遣わした。
一、今朝差し出した伺書は左の通り：
来る十六日こちらを発足し、同十九日日光着、
廿日
御名代相勤め、廿三日帰府致し候が先格にて
御座候。今度もその通り心得申すべきか伺い奉り候。

One, Wearing fukusa awase half-hakama, I left home a little after 7:30 and went to see Abe Bitchu-no-kami-dono, who was on duty.
One, The steward called me and I stated that I had come to express gratitude for being appointed Nikko deputy representative on the 20th day. Soon Bitchu-dono entered the audience chamber, the steward opened the sliding doors, I entered and announced my name at the threshold of the audience area. I expressed gratitude for being appointed Nikko deputy representative on the 20th day. Regarding this, I submitted an inquiry document along with two wrapped documents together. Bitchu-dono reviewed them, gave a brief acknowledgment, and immediately withdrew from his seat. Then I proceeded to the informal area where Bitchu-no-kami-dono appeared and exchanged seasonal greetings. Since there were other guests present as well, I joined in to announce my news and also inquired about everyone's well-being before withdrawing.
One, I also visited Doi Ooi-no-kami-dono, Mizuno Dewa-no-kami-dono, and Okubo Kaga-no-kami-dono, proceeded to their informal areas to announce my news and inquired about their well-being, returning home after 5:30.
One, I was supposed to visit Aoyama Shimotsuke-no-kami-dono, but since the main gate was under repair and it was before the formal audience session, I did not visit and instead sent a messenger to convey my announcement.
One, The inquiry document I submitted this morning was as follows:
Departing from here on the coming 16th day, arriving at Nikko on the same 19th day,
performing the deputy representative duties on the 20th day,
and returning to the capital on the 23rd day is the established precedent.
Should I follow the same procedure this time as well? I humbly inquire.
