一出立之節代り隠岐より附使者来先格之通り
不逢出立之旨申遣候
一千住駅小休へ代り同人より使被差越候間相応
為申遣共自分よりも当駅へ着直致出立候段使ヲ以
申遣候
一同駅へ師範修理弟子越前殿ゟ使者被差越
候間相応挨拶為申遣候
一登山之節計途中附使馳走人共会尺不致候
一夜五半時頃幸手駅泊着

一出立の際、代理の隠岐より付き使者が来たが、先例の通り
会わずに出立する旨を申し遣わした
一千住宿場で小休憩の際、代理の同人より使者が差し越されたので適当に
申し遣わしたが、自分からも当宿場へ到着後すぐに出立する段を使者を以て
申し遣わした
一同宿場へ師範修理の弟子越前殿より使者が差し越され
たので適当な挨拶を申し遣わした
一登山の際だけでなく道中の付き使いや馳走人とも面会しなかった
一夜五つ半時頃（午後九時頃）幸手宿場に宿泊到着
十月五日
一暁七つ時（午前四時）幸手駅出発

- This morning after 6 o'clock, departed for Nikkō {{marginal note: wearing the｜bestowed haori}}
- At the time of departure, a messenger came from Deputy Oki, but following precedent,
I conveyed that I would depart without meeting him
- During a brief rest at Senju post station, a messenger was sent from the same deputy, so I responded
appropriately, but I also sent a messenger from myself to inform that I had arrived at this station and would depart immediately
- A messenger was sent to the same station from Echizen-dono, a disciple of Master Shuri,
so I sent an appropriate greeting
- Not only during the mountain ascent but throughout the journey, I did not meet with accompanying messengers or hospitality attendants
- Around 5:30 at night (around 9 PM), arrived and lodged at Tebata post station

- At dawn, 7 o'clock (4 AM), departed from Tebata station
