一、一山惣代恵乗院が湯治中のため観音院へ参り、菓子と吸物を済ませてから面会した。観音院へご機嫌を伺い「ご機嫌よろしく」と挨拶を交わし、同院へ帰る際は次の間まで送った。

【Floor plan and seating arrangement】

- Since Eshō-in, the representative of the entire temple complex, was undergoing hot spring treatment, visited Kannon-in instead. After finishing sweets and soup, had a meeting. Inquired about Kannon-in's health, exchanged greetings saying "I hope you are in good health," and when returning to the temple, escorted them as far as the next room.
