御名代之図
【間取りと着座の図面】
御名代之拝禮相勤《割書：御焼香｜無之》畢而
御霊屋へ帰り此度者最初奥院江相越候場處より
余程来し處ニ入口有之右之處へ草履脱袴括り下ロシ
罷在候處最早自分献上之品相納候趣宿坊ゟ承り候間
直階を昇御濱縁ニ而拝礼仕退去其節階下へ御別当
龍光院被送且又御目代始衆徒被居候ニ付此節夫々
初而致会尺夫より宿坊法門院元之處迠送り有之
夫ゟ 御霊屋退散相済本坊へ罷越敷出薄縁ニ而
刀を取り法門院案内ニ而御玄関上り右之方御杉戸外ニ而
括下ロし同院案内ニ而御座敷へ罷出江戸へ之注進状
用人持出則自分へ相渡候ニ付美濃守代御目代
町田孫四郎へ相渡宿次ニ而差越候様ニと申談相渡候
右案詞同人心得迠ニ而家来ゟ進候段相達候

御名代の拝礼を勤める（焼香は無し）ことを終えて、
御霊屋へ帰る。今度は最初に奥院へ向かった場所よりも
かなり手前の所に入口があり、その場所で草履を脱ぎ袴の括りを下ろし
待機していた所、既に自分が献上した品物を納めた旨を宿坊から承ったので、
直接階段を昇り御浜縁において拝礼をして退去した。その際階段下へ御別当
龍光院が見送りに来られ、また御目代をはじめ衆徒が控えていたので、この時それぞれと
初めて会釈を交わした。それから宿坊法門院の元の場所まで見送りがあり、
それから御霊屋からの退散が済んで本坊へ向かい、敷物の薄縁の上で
刀を取り、法門院の案内で御玄関に上がり右の方の御杉戸の外で
袴の括りを下ろし、同院の案内で御座敷へ出向いた。江戸への注進状を
用人が持ち出し、すぐに自分へ渡されたので、美濃守代理の御目代
町田孫四郎へ渡し、宿次で送るようにと申し談じて渡した。
この件の言葉遣いは同人の心得までのことで、家来から進言があった段を伝達した。

Having completed the honorable representative's worship ceremony (without incense offering),
I returned to the mausoleum. This time, there was an entrance at a place considerably closer than the location where I initially proceeded to the inner shrine. At that place, I removed my sandals and loosened my hakama ties,
and while waiting there, I received word from the lodging temple that the items I had献上 献上した品物を納めた旨を宿坊から承ったので、
直接階段を昇り御浜縁において拝礼をして退去した。When I withdrew, the head priest Ryukoin came to see me off at the bottom of the stairs, and since the deputy and monks were also present, I exchanged greetings with each of them for the first time. Then there was an escort to the original location of the lodging temple Homon-in,
and after completing the withdrawal from the mausoleum, I proceeded to the main temple, took up my sword on the thin mat,
and with Homon-in's guidance, went up to the main entrance. At the right side outside the cedar doors,
I loosened my hakama ties, and with the same temple's guidance, I went out to the reception room. A retainer brought out a dispatch letter to Edo
and immediately handed it to me, so I gave it to Machida Magoshiro, the deputy representing Mino-no-kami,
and arranged for it to be sent via post stations.
The phrasing of this matter was within that person's understanding, and I conveyed that there had been advice from retainers.
