蟳《和名：手長ガニ 蛮名：ゼーカラツヘ》
海胆は、背にハリネズミのような刺が生えており、蠕々として能く運び徐行する。味は海老や
蟳のようである《図面は前にあり》
螺類は、とりわけ珍しく、五色に璀璨として形状が奇妙に現れる。蛼螯は大きさが
盤のようで、国人はこれを益として、戸枢とし、釜とする。皆そうである。珍しい者には
壁虎魚等がある。
壁虎魚は螺殻の上に五六の爪を生やし、形が壁虎（ヤモリ）のようで、壁
虎魚と名付けられる。

The snail family is particularly unusual, brilliantly colored in five hues with strangely varied forms. The giant conch is as large as a plate, and the people of this country use it beneficially as door hinges and as cooking pots - all of these uses. Among the unusual ones are the gecko fish and others.
The gecko fish grows five or six claws on top of its shell, shaped like a gecko, and is thus named gecko fish.
