火弾にて火傷せし手当の事
火 弾（ダン）【左ルビ：ウチコミビ】にて火傷を冒（カフム）【昌は誤記】り、火薬鉄瓦などの粉屑（クダケ）あらば、鍼
か竹 箆（ベラ）にてよく挑（カヽゲ）出し、水 疱（ブクレ）は鍼にて水をとりて後に、
海棉（ウミワタ）にて《割書：湯にひたしし｜ぼりて用ゆ、》血を拭（ノゴ）ひとるべし、《割書：血出て止ずば、前の｜ごとくに洗ふべし、》
後に鶏蛋油を木綿に浸てこれを蓋（オホ）ひ、その上をまき
木綿すべし、頭面の火傷、及金創にも、それ〳〵に繃縛（マキモメン）の
簡便なるを図に出したれば、予（カネ）て心得おくべし、

鋏子（はさみ）などの器具を予め用意して、速やかにこれを摘み出すべきである。《諸侯の医師で軍に従軍させるものには、必ず命じてこれらの器具を用意させるべきである。》その創傷口は、灰汁または清水でよく洗い、《酢で洗うのもまたよい。》愈創水を脱脂綿に浸してこれを詰め、魚膠膏または密陀僧膏を貼って、後に木綿で巻くべきである。もし出血が止まりにくければ、海綿を湯もしくは水に浸したものを絞った後、これで血をよく拭き取り、ハハソダケで覆い、酢を木綿に浸したものを当てて巻くのがよい。内服薬には、松葉の黒焼きを細末して、酒で服用すれば、不思議にも矢じりが肉に入ったもの、および鉄砲の弾丸が出にくいもの、針が刺さったもの、竹木の刺の類も治す

火弾で火傷した時の手当について
火弾（焼夷弾）で火傷を負い、火薬や鉄片などの破片があれば、針か竹べらでよく摘み出し、水疱は針で水を取った後に、海綿で《湯に浸して絞って用いる。》血を拭き取るべきである。《血が出て止まらなければ、前のように洗うべきである。》
その後、鶏卵油を木綿に浸してこれで覆い、その上を木綿で巻くべきである。頭部や顔面の火傷、および刀傷にも、それぞれに包帯法の簡便なものを図に示したので、予め心得ておくべきである。

Tools such as forceps should be prepared in advance, and these should be quickly extracted. 《For physicians of feudal lords who accompany armies, these instruments must be ordered to be prepared.》 The wound opening should be well washed with lye or clean water, 《washing with vinegar is also good.》 Healing water should be soaked into cotton and stuffed into the wound, fish glue plaster or litharge plaster should be applied, and then it should be wrapped with cotton cloth. If bleeding is difficult to stop, sponge soaked in hot water or water should be squeezed and used to wipe the blood well, covered with Hahasodake, and cotton soaked in vinegar should be applied and wrapped. For internal medicine, finely powdered charred pine needles taken with sake will miraculously treat arrowheads that have entered the flesh, as well as iron bullets that are difficult to remove, stuck needles, and bamboo or wood splinters.

Treatment for burns from incendiary projectiles
When burned by fire projectiles (incendiary shells), if there are fragments of gunpowder, iron pieces, etc., extract them well with needles or bamboo spatulas. For blisters, puncture with needles to drain the fluid, then wipe away blood with sponge 《soaked in hot water and wrung out for use.》 《If bleeding does not stop, wash as described previously.》
Afterward, soak cotton in chicken egg oil to cover the wound, and wrap with cotton cloth over it. For burns on the head and face, as well as sword wounds, I have illustrated simple bandaging methods for each, so these should be learned in advance.
