ぬへき其かすの。運り来ぬる時
に当りて。西国の仏の教。我邦
に伝りこしより。神代の道は。い
つしか埋果て。世間大に移ひゆき。
ふたゝひまた千とせ余り二百五
十年なる此とし比。其西のはてなる

虜等かくさ〳〵の学を。何くれと世に
もてはやしぬるのみならす。其虜
等もおのれとよりきて。我日のもとを
覬ふことのあなる。彼等は。八十網打
かけて引よせらるゝ。神の御所為と
もしらて。きたなき心をつかふめ
れは。官家にも。御威稜をはつ給ひ。

べきその数の、巡り来た時
に当たって、西国の仏の教えが我が国
に伝わって来てから、神代の道は、い
つの間にか埋もれ果てて、世間は大いに変わっていき、
再びまた千年余り二百五
十年なるこの年頃、その西の果てなる

夷狄どもが様々な学問を、あれこれと世に
もてはやすだけでなく、その夷狄
どもも自らやって来て、我が日本を
狙うことがある。彼らは、八十の網を
かけて引き寄せられる、神の御業と
も知らずに、汚らわしい心を使うよう
だから、朝廷にも、御威光を発し給い、

has come around again, since the Buddhist teachings from the western countries
were transmitted to our nation, the Way of the Age of Gods has
somehow become buried and lost, and the world has greatly changed.
Now again, after over a thousand and two hundred and
fifty years have passed, those at the western extremes—

in all manner of ways in the world, and moreover, these barbarians
themselves come of their own accord and
covet our Japan. Since they act with
defiled hearts, not knowing that they are being
drawn in by eighty nets through divine workings,
the Imperial Court should also manifest its august authority.
