軍士は常に鎧（ヨロヒ）の引あはせに用意すべきは、この箭鏃（ヤジリ）ぬき
の薬なり、これを貼（ツク）れは、いかほど深（フカ）く射（イ）こみたる鏃（ヤジリ）に
ても、出ずといふことなし、ことに矢の篦（ノ）の折（ヲレ）たるは、此
薬にあらざれば、抜（ヌケ）がたし、盛長日記、その外の古書にも、
此薬の効あることをいへり、神君にも、殊の外御秘蔵あ
りしよしいひ伝たり、試（コヽロミ）に釘（クギ）を柱などへ打こみて、此薬
を貼（ツケ）おけば、翌（アクル）日には釘の頭すこし出るなり、鉄を吸（スフ）
ところの力 磁石（ジシヤク）に優（マサ）れりといふべし、

右二味同く研（スリ）て、傷処（キズ）に伝（ツタ）【ツクの誤記ヵ】れば、やがて微（スコシ）痒（カユ）み出る
を忍（コラヘ）て、極（キハメテ）痒（カユ）くして堪（タヘ）がたきにいたれば、撼（ウゴカシ）てこれを
抜、そのあとを、黄連、貫衆（クワンジユ）の二味を湯に煎じて
洗たる後、よく拭とりて、石灰の極細末を伝（ツケ）、布を以
て縛（クヽリ）おくべし、
此方は、漢土の医書に出たる一方なり、前の牛虱な
どの得がたきときには、此方もまた試用（モチフ）べし、
防腐水
蘆薈（ロカイ） 乳香 没（モツ）薬《割書：各等分、薬鋪【舗】に煉（ネリ）没薬｜と称（イフ）ものを用ふ、此物は蛮（バン）》
《割書：国より出る。一種の樹脂（キノヤニ）なり、華（ハナ）没薬と呼（ヨブ）ものはもと、紫鑛（シクワウ）【𨥥は「鑛」の古字】といふ物｜にて、天竺、暹羅（シヤムロ）【注】、錫蘭（セイロン）などより出る、これも樹脂（キノヤニ）なれども、性効の殊（コト）》

軍士は常に鎧の引き合わせに用意すべきものは、この箭鏃抜きの薬である。これを貼れば、どれほど深く射込んだ鏃でも、出ないということはない。特に矢の矢柄が折れたものは、この薬でなければ抜けにくい。盛長日記、その他の古書にも、この薬の効果があることを言っている。神君にも、殊の外ご秘蔵されていたということが言い伝えられている。試しに釘を柱などへ打ち込んで、この薬を貼っておけば、翌日には釘の頭が少し出るのである。鉄を吸うところの力は磁石に優ると言うべきである。

蘆薈 乳香 没薬《各等分、薬舗に煉没薬と称するものを用いる。この物は蛮国より出る。一種の樹脂である。華没薬と呼ぶものは元来、紫鑛というもので、天竺、暹羅、錫蘭などより出る。これも樹脂であるが、性効が異なる》

Grind the above two ingredients together equally and apply to the wound site. Soon a slight itching will emerge - endure this, and when it becomes extremely itchy and unbearable, move and extract [the arrowhead]. Afterwards, decoct coptis and cyrtomium in hot water and wash [the wound], then wipe it clean, apply very fine lime powder, and bind with cloth.
This prescription appears in Chinese medical texts. When the aforementioned cattle lice are difficult to obtain, this prescription should also be tried.
