只今慥ニ請取申所相違無御座候然上ハ
細工仕立方之儀者別紙絵図面并仕様帳
之通少も無相違成丈入念相仕立可申候
万一出来形御意ニ入不申所御書候ハヽ何ヶ度
成共仕立直申差上可申候代金御渡方之義ハ
細工出来分通ニ遵ひ追々御渡シ可被下候
且又右之通御引請申上候上ハたとへ弁金等
相立候共御定代金之外増金等ハ勿論
皆出来之上棟祭御祝義等之儀茂思召
次第申請聊御無心ヶ間敷義決而申上間敷候
依之請人一同引請一札差出申所仍如件

現代語訳
ただいま確かに受け取り申したところ、相違はございません。その上は、細工仕立て方の件については、別紙絵図面ならびに仕様帳の通り、少しも相違なく、丈夫に入念に仕立て申し上げます。万一出来上がりがお気に召さない箇所がございましたら、何度でも仕立て直し申し上げます。代金のお渡しの件については、細工の出来上がりに応じて順次お渡しいただきます。また右の通りお引き受け申し上げた以上は、たとえ弁償金等が必要になっても、お定めの代金以外の増金等はもちろん、すべて完成の上での棟上げ祭りや祝い事等の件についても、お考え次第でお受けいたし、少しも無心がましい義理は決して申し上げません。よって請人一同で引き受けの一札を差し出し申すところ、よって書面の通りです。

We have now certainly received [the contract amount] without discrepancy. Furthermore, regarding the construction work, we shall carefully execute it according to the separate drawings and specification documents without any deviation, ensuring durability. Should any aspect of the completed work not meet with your satisfaction, we shall reconstruct it as many times as necessary. Regarding payment, it shall be made progressively according to the completion of the work. Moreover, having accepted this contract as stated above, even if compensation costs arise, we shall not request any additional payments beyond the established contract amount. Furthermore, regarding completion ceremonies such as ridge-raising festivals and celebratory events upon full completion, we shall accept these at your discretion and shall never make any presumptuous requests for additional favors. Therefore, all guarantors together submit this contract certificate, and thus it is as written.
