一 我等所持之居宅鉾持町西側ニ而表口弐間三尺五寸裏行
土境迄弐拾壱間家帳之通此度貴殿江永代ニ譲渡申候此為
禮金八両弐分弐朱只今慥請取申所実正明白御座候此家屋
敷ニ付諸親類者不及申脇々ゟ毛頭構無御坐候万一横
合より違乱ヶ間敷義申者有之候ハヽ證人立合急度埒明
貴殿江少茂御苦労掛申間敷候 御公儀様御役之義者
是迄半役相勤来候間以来右之通御勤可被成候乍併
金子御返進申候ハヽ右之家屋敷御渡し可被下候為後日

永代家屋敷譲渡証文
一、私たちが所有する居宅について、鉾持町西側において間口二間三尺五寸、奥行きは土地境界まで二十一間、家帳に記載の通りです。この度貴殿に永代に譲渡いたします。この礼金として八両二分二朱を只今確かに受け取りました。間違いございません。この家屋敷について、諸親類はもちろんのこと、第三者からも一切異議はございません。万一、横合いから争いとなるような異議を申し立てる者がいた場合は、証人立会いのもときっちりと解決し、貴殿に少しもご苦労をおかけいたしません。公儀様の御役儀については、これまで半役を務めてまいりましたので、今後も右の通りお勤めください。ただし、金子をお返しいただけるなら、右の家屋敷をお返しください。後日のため譲渡証文を差し上げます。

Deed of Perpetual Transfer for House and Residential Plot
One property: Our residential dwelling located on the west side of Hokomotchi Town, with a frontage of 2 ken 3 shaku 5 sun and a depth of 21 ken to the land boundary, as recorded in the house registry. We hereby transfer this property to you in perpetuity. As gratitude money for this transfer, we have just now received 8 ryō 2 bu 2 shu with certainty. This is absolutely correct. Regarding this house and residential plot, neither various relatives nor any third parties have any objections whatsoever. Should anyone from outside raise contentious objections, we will resolve the matter promptly with witnesses present and will not cause you the slightest trouble. Concerning official duties for the authorities, as half-duties have been performed until now, please continue to serve in the same manner hereafter. However, if you return the money, please return the aforementioned house and residential plot. This deed of transfer is issued for future reference.
