皇上万万歳三跪九叩礼畢始登殿受百官賀礼如明
制就班一揖跪三拝興一揖跪又三拝興又一揖礼
畢皆用楽 明夏子陽使録云元旦行礼後各官易
常服王亦衣寛博錦衣戴五色錦帽坐閣二層衆官
跪階下唱太平曲卑者按拍和歌尊者捧觴為寿王
亦等級賜之酒肴 毎月十五日久米大夫以下朝
王賜茶酒本国諸臣則止賜茶

皇上万寿聖誕]王率陪臣北向祝如元旦礼
[国王誕日]登殿受賀礼如上元各官升遷俱于此日

日を通書し、権りに国中に行いて以て
天朝より頒賜された官暦と共に凜として遵奉を得、一王の正朔はこれ千万億年尊王に

[冬至・元旦]国王は皮弁を着け珪を執り、先ず歳徳を拝す《割書:歳徳の所在する
方向に向かってこれを拝む》。乃ち
北向して遥かに
皇上万万歳を賀し、三跪九叩の礼を畢えて始めて殿に登り百官の賀礼を受ける。明の
制の如く班に就いて一揖・跪・三拝・興・一揖・跪・また三拝・興・また一揖の礼を
畢える。皆楽を用いる 明の夏子陽使録に云う「元旦の行礼後、各官は
常服に易え、王もまた寛博なる錦衣を衣て五色錦帽を戴き、二層の閣に坐す。衆官は
階下に跪いて太平曲を唱え、卑者は按拍して和歌し、尊者は觴を捧げて寿を為す。王
もまた等級に応じてこれに酒肴を賜う」 毎月十五日に久米大夫以下が
王に朝し、茶酒を賜る。本国の諸臣には則ち茶のみを賜る
[上元]国王は殿に登り賀礼を受ける。元旦と同じ
[皇上万寿聖誕]王は陪臣を率いて北向し、元旦の礼の如く祝す
[国王誕日]殿に登り賀礼を受ける。上元の如く、各官の升遷は俱にこの日に於いて
功を計り爵を定める

Ceremonies and Rituals
[Winter Solstice and New Year's Day] The king wears the leather cap and holds the ceremonial jade tablet, first worshipping the yearly deity《annotation: facing toward the direction

facing north, he distantly congratulates
His Imperial Majesty with ten thousand times ten thousand years of life, and after completing the ritual of three kneelings and nine prostrations, he ascends to the hall to receive congratulatory ceremonies from the hundred officials. Following Ming
regulations, they take their positions in ranks with one bow, kneel, three prostrations, rise, one bow, kneel, again three prostrations, rise, and again one bow, completing the ritual.
All use music The Ming envoy Xia Ziyang's record states: "After New Year's Day ceremonies, each official
changes to regular dress, and the king also wears loose brocade robes and a five-colored brocade hat, sitting in a two-story pavilion. The assembled officials
kneel below the stairs chanting peaceful songs, with those of lower rank keeping time and singing in harmony, while those of higher rank raise cups in toast. The king
also bestows wine and delicacies according to their ranks" On the fifteenth day of each month, officials from Kume Dafu downward
attend court before the king and are granted tea and wine. Ministers of the home country are granted only tea
[First Month Festival] The king ascends to the hall to receive congratulatory ceremonies, same as New Year's Day
[His Imperial Majesty's Birthday] The king leads his retainers facing north in celebration as in New Year's Day ceremonies
[King's Birthday] Ascending to the hall to receive congratulatory ceremonies as in the First Month Festival. All officials' promotions occur on this day when
merits are calculated and ranks determined
[Incense Offering at Ben-dake] The king's enthronement and investiture both involve personal sacrificial rites. Every year in the first, fifth, and ninth months
