月に国王は斎戒して山海及び護国神の祭りを挙行し、或いは官を遣わして行礼する。弁 岳の神の名は祝祝といい、乃ち天孫氏の第二女である。神垣が四周にあり、叢木が 特に密生している。小門が内向きに南向きで、門外に木亭が二所ある。左傍に小石 塔及び石灯案が左右に各五基ある。門内に入ると石段が北に屈して東に向かい、数十の 階級を上って頂に至るも何もなく、石炉の上に香数十枝を炷くのみである。此れが 本山神を祭る処である 木亭の前の平地は方広で南向きに海が見え、東南方に 一つの石炉があり香を炷いて海神を祭る処である 国中で凡そ叢木が密生し短垣が 四周にあり小門が内向きにある者は皆「岳」と名付けられ、中国の土地神の如く村々に 皆これがある [崇元寺先王廟]春秋二祭で或いは親祭或いは官を遣わし、三日斎戒し、楽は 俱に天孫太平歌を用い、祖宗の功徳と神霊が歴世綿々と遠く続く意を歌う [円覚寺]本宗の香火で時祭と月祭《割書:蘭盆祭と名づく》があり、三日斎戒し、忌辰には 特祭があり、朔望には茶を献ずる 天王寺・天界寺の礼も同じ  先王廟神主昭穆図 《割書:十五代・昭》尚益 《割書:十四代・昭》尚貞 《割書:十三代・昭》尚豊 《割書:十二代・昭》尚永 【横書】歴代有功王叔

In these months, the king observes ritual purification and conducts ceremonies for the mountain and sea deities as well as protective national gods, or dispatches officials to perform the rites. The deity of Ben-dake is named Shukushuku, who is the second daughter of the Tensōshi (heavenly ancestor clan). Divine walls surround it on four sides, with clustered trees particularly dense. There is a small gate facing inward toward the south, and outside the gate are two wooden pavilions. To the left are small stone pagodas and stone lantern stands, five each on the left and right. Upon entering the gate, stone steps bend north then east, and after climbing dozens of steps to the summit, there is nothing there except dozens of incense sticks burning on a stone brazier. This is the place where the main mountain deity is worshipped. The flat ground in front of the wooden pavilions is square and wide with a southern view of the sea, and to the southeast there is one stone brazier where incense is burned to worship the sea deity. Throughout the country, wherever there are dense clustered trees with short walls surrounding them on four sides and small inward-facing gates, these are all called "dake" (peaks), and like the earth gods of China, every village has them.
